so nobody was calling bron the best when he destroyed detroit in the 07 playoffs and then was leading the cavs to 60-win seasons with mo williams as his sidekick? :patrice:

He was seen as Peyton Manning of the NBA. The narrative was can Kobe catch Jordan? LeBron was a loser back then. The attention/narrative started to shift to LeBron in 2010-2011 season but it was still about if Kobe and LeBron would duke it out in the Finals. 2012 fully cemented it with Kobe getting injured/losing and LeBron finally getting his ring. All I remember from 2007-2010 is LeBron getting swept and thrown out the playoffs and Kobe going back and forth to the Finals.

Anybody saying different is a Stan.

Let's look at this logically from 2000-current

2000 - Shaq
2001 - Shaq
2002 - Shaq
2003 - Duncan
2004 - KG
2005 - Duncan
2006 - Wade
2007 - Lebron
2008 - Lebron
2009 - Wade
2010 - Lebron
2011 - Rozay
2012 - Lebron
2013 - Lebron
2014 - Lebron
2015 - Lebron
2016 - Lebron

You really out here trying to convince the world that Rose was the best player in 2011? :what: :mjlol:

2000 - Shaq
2001 - Shaq
2002 - Shaq
2003 - Duncan/Kobe/KG/Shaq/T-Mac
2004 - KG or Duncan
2005 - Duncan
2006 - Kobe
2007 - Kobe
2008 - Kobe
2009 - Lebron
2010 - Lebron
2011 - Lebron
2012 - Lebron
2013 - Lebron
2014 - Lebron or Kevin Durant
2015 - Lebron
2016 - Lebron or Steph Curry

2003 is a year where 5 players had a strong case for being the best player.

Kobe probably was the best player in the 2006 and 2007 seasons if we are being real. Though 06 Bron has a strong case for being the best in the league. But in 2007 Kobe had his best case by far I believe even with Dirk winning the MVP.
Even though I think Kobe was the best player in the NBA from 06-08. I do agree that he wasn't the clear cut best player. Lebron was right there. Wasn't clear cut like how it was for Bron in 2012 and 2013.

I don't see the logic in saying Bron was better in 09. He simply wasn't.

Kobe coasted through the regular season and beasted in the playoffs :yeshrug:

In route to a ring and fmvp
Kobe 2009 playoffs:

30 points on 46% from the field, 35% from behind the arc, 88% at the line. 5.3 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.9 blocks

LeBron 2009 playoffs:
35.3 points, 51% from the field, 33% from behind the arc, 75% at the line, 9.1 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.9 blocks

Looks like mrs. cum is lying again :sas1:

He's just as bad. He's argued Kobe was the hero of the 2000 finals and tried to argue Shaq was washed up and deandre Jordan status in the 2004 finals and the main reason they lost was Shaq's defense in a series where the average score was 91-82.
