*laughs in 20 year old car with broken air conditioning*

at least its paid for :yeshrug:
That's just the other extreme.
Some people start off with German cars, their first car was Mercedes/bmw/VW so they stick with it. I know people like that, wallet be damned. I started off with a Honda Accord, so it's different. Some start with American cars.
I've driven nothing but Japanese and at some point would like something different.
Land cruisers going for 50k? Where
Any/everywhere. It's a Lexus GX without the badge.

$800 note is wild. Add insurance and gas and he's close to paying $1200/month. Imagine what you can do with $1200/month investment wise. That's $14,000 a year. Thats a down-payment for a home

A base model Camry is nearly 30k now. After taxes title registration fees, that payment is going to be $600+. Cars new or used, economy or luxury are stupid expensive now.

Where in my post did I mention LA, New York, Boston, Chicago?

$1200/month EXTRA is still a lot for a majority of the country when you look at the median household income. $800/month is also financially irresponsible for a majority of the country when you look at the same stat. $14,000 down can buy you a house in a vast majority of the country

My credit was on point at the time but the most I ever paid for a car note was 294.00 then 245.00 for a charger & regal.one owner both under 75k miles. Both cars were within 5-6 years of the current year I copped

Used cars not new so that definitely makes a difference. I don’t understand how anyone pays 500-800 for a car note :gucci:

If you can afford a car with those touch screens in the console you are truly blessed :wow:

Some people gotta ride the bus to go anywhere that isn't walking distance which runs once a hour all day with no rush hour increases.
