Because the US has a a larger population than Australia and fakkits (some of them in this subfourm) keep buying up all the consoles to sell them at astronomical prices due to the supply shortage in the first place.

I want to get my son a switch for xmas. Should I wait for black Friday because it's looks like a few places are going to have the Mario kart bundle or should I just grab one now and not have to worry about not getting one because of supply shortages ?
