lol @ playing Breath of the Wild for free on PC before the end of the year.

shyts crazy!!!
I'm telling you I rather play a BOTW with some glitches/errors here and there in 4K/30fps on PC than to give Nintendo money for the Switch. I might still hold onto the Wii U in case but right now I'm not even tolerating or defending Nintendo no more. It's been 15 years I've been defending Nintendo. Since the Gamecube. Every gen I'm holding out on them bringing it back. Hell even more than that if you want to count the N64. Right now this is literally the worst I've seen Nintendo in. The Switch is on my no buy list until further notice.

the paid online gotta be the biggest bullshyt of it all though.

IF they actually had a decent online, I could see them easing into it like PSN did...but Nintendo's online/eShop infrastructure has been garbage since the DSi.

Came in to say this. At least with Sony, even though its annoying, they started charging for online, but it made sense business-wise because it was a stream of revenue they were losing out on. If the online membership is over even $30 plus the console at $300? :hhh:

Center self, inner self
I been warning you about Nintendo for a while now but you wouldn't listen. Nintendo makes exceptional games but crap systems overall and it's been the case for like 20+ years now. The Switch will likely be another trash system but I've got some cash back to burn so why not. It's guaranteed to have several games I want.
I wouldnt say that make exceptional games. They made good games SOMETIMES. Sales reveal that.
relevant to who?

Before the Wii, for better or worse, they were selling less of each home console..yet they were still in the game.

Nintendo never really chased relevancy.

Nintendo will always sell, bottom line.

I'm not as thrilled after the reveal, but I still have it preordered...but I am looking more forward to a 3DS successor at this time.
Im not banking on them always selling. Business doesnt work that way.

if they pull an ambassador program though...:gladbron:
what's that?

But @hex told me Nintendo is fine cause they have enough cash to put out bad consoles for another century:mjgrin:

I honestly can't believe they are going after the casual crowd again. It's crazy how they have done nothing right ever since the success of the WII
They must have the cash to keep putting this stuff out though.
Bruh companies need stockholders investing in them to survive. Sitting on cash is bad businesss cause you need to investing that cash for profits

We all want Nintendo to succeed but the truth is Nintendo has no clue what they're doing
sitting on cash is not bad business :what: thats good business. Companies that have a lot of cash and good cash flow survive market fluctuations.

ambassador program was before the first 3DS price cut after it launched. They gave people who bought the system at launch 20 free games...10 NES games and 10 GBA games

if they do the same thing for the Switch, that'd entice me a little more

The H
:yeshrug: copped. Zelda, Mario, and Xenoblade are must plays, and Nintendo doesn't really do price cuts so might as well cop at launch. Bunch of casuals in this thread :troll:.

Admittedly though, the event was pretty bad. Not enough great games on the horizon, but just enough for me I guess. I've had a 3DS but haven't had a Nintendo home console since GameCube so fukk it. If I had a Wii U I probably would've passed.
