No amount of budgeting and not eating out is going to make up for the fact that we don't make enough money.

As of now there’s really no substantial difference in price between eating out and buying groceries.

Both are at unlivable costs

Nah this is for sure false

A pound of organic* chicken breasts at H‑E‑B is 3.49

A 6 serving can of beans is 1.79
A 6 serving box of rice is like 2 bucks

A home cooked chipotle restaurant sized serving cooked chicken/rice/beans is like $1.50. At chipotle that shyt is like 11 bucks

Cooking is much cheaper than eating out unless you eating some bullshyt from the dollar menu

This is false and you know it.

Even at a high end grocery store I just got two quarter pound patties to grill for 3.60

At McDonalds that's running around 10 bucks let alone an actual restaurant. That's probably running at least 30.

Those types of savings add up over an extended time
That’s not realistic breh.

Y’all talking bout small single items

Im talking bout actual groceries!

I got a family to feed. Just buying random small items here and there doesn’t cut it.

Y’all remember you gotta eat 3 times a day every single day?

Add that up.

TYRONE GA!
Two part time fast food jobs. People just lazy dog.

I’d work a warehouse 7-3 then McDonald’s 4-10 if I had to.
Exactly

Do what you gotta do

But first thing out of people's mouths are excuses for lack of responsibility and accountability

Wages are stagnant while inflation has gone up yet American as a whole has more wealth now than ever before. The very definition of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer.

No amount of budgeting will solve our economic problems. Deciding to not spend $600 on them Yeezys won't do shyt for you in 2 months when you still can't pay the bills. The only other option is to get a second job. Call this an "option" is a stretch...many full time jobs do not want folks on a the payroll with another job. Not to mention, working 14 - 17hrs a day isn't healthy for single individuals let alone someone with a family. Speaking from experience.

Birthing rates are dropping partly because ppl, mostly women, are opting for careers over family.... Economic and food insecurity is on the rise....random acts of mass violence is coming the norm... all of which are endemic of a decadent society. This is not substantial. Pointing the finger masses isn't a solution.

Yup. Its always the individuals fault on here before the broken ass system and dog water economy were in atm.

I’m getting negged. People are mad.

Arbys is paying $15 an hour and offering bonuses.

My nephew makes $600 a week at Wawa. And he’s about to pick up another job.

Rent is high but you can always get a roommate. I had roommates till I was 25. I paid $333 per month and grinded my ass off until I increased my income.

Buncha dumb mf’ers on the first page

“Just save more

Capitalism exploits the worker, and with all the fukkery happening, corporations have been ramping their exploitation into high gear knowing there’s not going to be any pushback because everyone’s too focused on other shyt.

Blaming peoples “lifestyle choices” for being poor, while CEOs walk around with multi-million dollar bonuses is the definition of false consciousness, you’re defending the rich.

Agreed. I ain’t no boot straps type but I really know my ordering out traveling and Nike addiction is the reason I didn’t save earlier this year lol
One thing I did early on was cutting down on ordering out, but with getting clothes, I wait for sales the drawback is that what you're looking for isn't on sale or it is, but your size isn't available :francis:

Those aren’t livable wages.

I know people working multiple jobs to make ends meet, and that’s been going on since the 1980s when Reagan tanked the economy.

When are you bootlickers going to admit that workers deserve more money?

“You should all live in a clown car and grind :jawalrus:

No, people should just get paid what their labor is worth.

It’s like you fukkers don’t know other countries exist. America gouges the shyt out of its workers and offers jack shyt in return, then fukkers like you come out and defend the system and tell people to just work harder. :stopitslime:

He’s 19. He’s about to get an apprenticeship and I got him focused so he can avoid being a failure in the future.

Of course workers deserve more money. But plenty of people complain just to complain and don’t even try to better themselves.

You can extrapolate out my purchase for multiple people lol

Okay 4 burgers would have been 7.20 and at a restaurant that's $60. Now do that for every meal of every day and compare
