I’m so confused by nikkas that think consoles are typically released with 50 next gen games to play within two months.

Yeah, you don’t gotta feel FOMO for missing out on launch but to say upgrades are all hype is flat out wrong lol

My ps5 is superior to my ps4 pro in every way. It’s quieter (to say the least), it runs cooler, fast load and boot times, better controller, more games, QoL updates to the UI, upgraded versions of last gen games, overall a better gaming experience.

Once next gen games start dropping in a a couple months i don’t gotta worry about if there will be stock i will just look forward to copping my new games.

Sony fan base is all about exclusive games and hype... Hence why I was saying in Nov people are running out getting systems and paying marked up prices that don't even play games like that outside of blockbusters are going to be upset come this year. Demon souls can only last you so long.

After that, it's a pretty decent wait before latching on to an exclusive. I think the next thing is destruction all stars, then returnal at the end of march, and hopefully Ratchet in April. If you not consistently playing on playstation 4 you could have waited to cop.

And the xbox literally doesnt have a single exclusive next gen game out and won't until later this week. After that who know when the next one is going to drop.... Yet people ran out and copped for 1200 dollars and or used there stimmy and wondering why it's not living up to the hype.

I'm very pleased with my purchases but I went in knowing that both my PS5 and Xbox were going to be backwards compatibility upgrade machines and QOL upgrades and they've lived up to that and exceeded it.

Ok, how does that contradict what I just said?

Me: Why do people assume there’s gonna be a bunch of next gen exclusives out within two months?

Also me: damn this January drought is gonna be wack af

As someone who has a huge backlog of games and loves his action games, playing my favorite games like Nioh 2, Sekiro, the Surge 2, MHW, etc...

The convenience of the load times alone is almost worth the price of admission.
More power to you but I'll never understand the $400+ for better load times rationale. Do you not use load times to take a piss, hit a blunt, grab ya girl's/wife's ass, grab something out the refrigerator, check phone notifications, etc? Like, come on...

Yeah, I do all that. There are still loads of load times too and that shyt adds up when you play a lot of games.

I guarantee you don’t realize how long load times are and how conditioned you are to just be wasting time.

When you can switch between games and they load up in seconds rather than a minute? It adds up like crazy and then all the other quality of life upgrades like silky smooth 60 FPS on my action games, no button delay, the overall stability of the games, the fact that it doesn’t sound like a jet engine, etc.
