that first play in the link is a touchdown :damn:others would've kept drives going. I'm
cautious to give an opinion on the Minnesota game due to this loss.

not even discussed in that article was the terrible pass to Bush that resulted in interception. Staff is forver inconsistent :aicmon:. Wasted a solid defensive effort. Kicking issues asside tbat was a W, but the typical SOL type of loss was served up on Sunday.

@eastside313

fukk Willie Young and his 5 sacks.:pachaha: Need to wee the context of those sacks :sas1:

the d line has been good. Sure, we could use more big plays, but that's all past defenses had- an occasional big play. Dont remember a better tackling team

The article stated how the lions went to quicker passes to help out with the pressure and Stafford couldnt or wouldn't make the read. If you got a quick 2 or 3 step drop you cant look at Calvin for 5 seconds. You gotta recognize at the line of scrimmage that the safety is shading him and its 3rd down, I can't take that chance. The defense was doing their job and nobody is gonna run against our front 7. That defense is swarming like rod marenelli wanted it to do for him and gang tackling :heh:

But as good as the defense played as soon as the pass rush doesn't get there orton was able to find 300 passing yards. :scust:

Is it to much to ask for 3 tds. They was saying on the radio Brian hoyer is putting up 26 points a game for the Browns and nobody can even name a receiver on that team. If we can get 25 PPG with this defense we would be looking at 11-13 wins :damn:

Don't even wanna imagine if the defense takes a step back or Mathis or slay gets hurt:mjcry:

I could be wrong but Stafford is on pace to be the highest paid player in nfl history. 135 mill before the age of 30:noah: is what his first 2 contracts will get him. I'm sorry I don't care about the circumstances you gotta produce for that type of money. You can't just be a game manager making that type money against the cap.

I'm still a little worried about the D. I can't help but think the secondary will get exposed once teams get more tape of the Lions. Green Bay should have, but they had one of the worst gameplans I've ever seen.

The D (where it's so cold)

Stafford missing Ebron is one of the worst misses in Stafford career, even Valenti was giving Matt shyt about it, I mean every year it's something with Matt, first it's he doesn't let plays develop now he holds the ball too long, he still has terrible mechanics so atleast that part of his game is consistent. I feel so bad for Rozay, he would be Desean Jackson on HGH if Matt could get him the ball, he beat his man on another play too but the one gif'd from that article was a TD if Matt sees him. I don't know how Matt checks down but it's ass backwards from the looks of it, at this point I don't know if that's on Matt or Lombardi, either way Jeremy Ross is getting wasted on the field.

What's hilarious about the Ebron's miss is if that's stone hands Pettigrew out there Matt would probably hit him in the numbers only for Pedicure to drop it, I can't even see Matt being a game manager let alone elite if you miss plays like that, he had no pressure at that point of his checkdown that was a gimme. smh.

At least we got Prater :whew:
You know it's a fukked up situation when you actually have to salute the Lions for signing something as basic as a kicker but yeah, props I guess.

And how good can we really feel with this? Dude is one fukk up away from a season ban and that's picture perfect for Lions fukkery and then we are right back to trying to salvage the kicking situation again. I'm trying to be positive about it, the Prater signing is a godsend but the Lions make the most basic things so skressful.

That's the thing about these big arm/gunslinger QBs. Either their accuracy or their decision making/processing is fukked up or both because they are so used to being able to get by on their arm. Even when Stafford had his one great season he was inconsistent as fukk when it came to accuracy and almost always got of to a rocky start before eventually finding a groove.

Makes me wonder if Stafford is too afraid to take shots downfield due to the coaching focus on playing smart. He seems very hesitant, especially since that bad INT against Carolina where he forced the ball to Calvin.

At the end of the day...dude can't read defenses yall. And the o-line isn't giving him time. Bad mix.

It was like every halftime, we went into the locker room down because the offense started so slow.

I will never forget that Cowboys game :wow: Stafford looked like he was throwing to 8ft tall receivers throughout the first half. Then Romo went into the locker room at the half like "He thinks that's fukking up. I'll show him fukking up :smugbiden:".

In theory the Green Bay game plan was right. You coming out against 5 and 6 man fronts you suppose to run the ball but they couldn't and never stopped trying. Bills did the same thing but orton started connecting on passes but Rodgers was getting more pressure and not completing his throws. It's still interesting that teams haven't just said fukk it we can't run so we bout to spread yall out and just throw it.

I think lombardi is trying to treat Stafford like the saints do drew Brees and expect him to make the right decision quickly. I talk to a few people that went to the bills game, they all say Stafford had receivers open but he never seen em and kept taking sacks. You can't fault Lombardi if Stafford not making his reads. Stafford seems to have a 1 option or check down to the running back. Maybe 2 or 3 times in a game you can see him hit a receiver for a check down. The one pass to the rb in the article stafford stared Winn down the whole time and still threw it to him with 2 linebackers in the area.

:whoa: Slow down with the rozay to d jax comparison :skip: Ross has played well but if it was him or broyles either one of em should be eating with Tate and Calvin and bush on the field.

I give the bills d line credit for getting 6 sacks but atleast half of them was because Stafford held onto the ball too long. Throw it away fool:damn:
