I'm going to excuse a lot of those posts in here because most of you brehs testicles have not dropped yet, and a few of you are homosexuals who hide behind your women hate.
Even tho Hope Solo should receive a reprimand for her allegations, it is not the same at all with Ray Rice. Men have killed or permanently injured women with their bare hands and have done it since the beginning of time and have done it at an insanely higher clip than women doing it to men. This is a serious problem. I believe women should never hit men mostly because history has shown us to be psychos who will body a woman because we caught a slap. It's not the same and should not be equated at all.

I can't believe the crazy double standard and the dudes that support that bullshyt. I believe any dude that abuses a woman deserves to be punished to the fullest extent. With that said that doesn't mean that a woman can do no wrong. It seems the only way a woman can do wrong against a man is to kill him in a lot of people's eyes. Everything else is fair game.
The article bases its premiss off unfair hyperbole in the first place.
It characterizes Hopes assault as a "harmless family feud". Even though we really don't know what happened.
Then it characterizes Rays assault as "pummeling her until she's unconscious" Even though as ugly as the video was he didn't "pummel" her. He hit her once and knocked her out. The way the article portays it sounds like he stood over her and continually threw punches.
This double standard is exactly what the problem is. I didn't even need to read more of the article to see it was full of shyt.
Honestly I think we should raise awareness about men beating their wives. It happens all too often and a lot of women are stuck in a horrible situation. But when it comes to ruining lives, firing people, loosing endorsements, etc. There must be some standard of fairness. It's not fair that the entire violence against women movement should fall on rays shoulders, and its also unfair that same movement chooses to ignore and even downplay other assaults because they don't fit their agenda.

I agree it's not on the same level, but the selective outrage at DV is just that when it comes to females as the aggressor. People just need to be honest with it. There are no absolutes with anything. It's like a racist cac vs a racist nikka. We know we get the benefit of a double standard in those situations. That's not to say that being a racist nikka is cool either, but we get more of a pass being racist towards white people.
I do think Ho Solo should get "something", but I'm not gonna shed a fukking tear over her getting nothing because I know the deal. She's a white female. It is what it is, and while it's not right, it's the world we live in.
