Its the reverse of the Mo Pete / Michael Ruffin ending where Buckhantz was like "NOT POSSIBLE! NOT POSSIBLE!"

I’ll never forget it. I was screening that game when I first got to studio production at ESPN. The highlight supervisors would give me Wizards games since they knew I was a fan. The game itself wasn’t even supposed to be in the 11 p.m. SC that night. I was cruising along and then that shyt happened ... all I could think was, “fukk! Now this shyt is about to lead off the damn show and I have to actually do some damn work.”

fukkin’ Michael Ruffin.

I remember that moment. To me it goes down as the dumbest play in history of watching wizards games. And that guy used to suck every game but that play was just icing

I was so vexed seeing that play live. I couldn’t believe he was that stupid and that we had that bad of luck.

This was the ascension of Gil into an All nba, on the cusp of superstardom player. He had his birthday party at Love that year and every major black celebrity was there.

But that Ruffin play lead us to drafting John Wall. Typical Eddie Jordan season where we start struggling in late February and it fell into that game. We win and we are able probably avoid Lebron in the playoffs. Of course we lose and then that idiot Gerald Wallace torpedoes into Gil’s knee three games later and that era was over.

But if The Wizards were smart they'd trade him for younger. I'd take MPJ, Bol Bol, and some future picks from Denver for Brad. We suck and draft Jalen Green or Cade Cunningham next season and off to a rebuild. That'd be us getting two potential superstars for one all-star (Beal)

That’d be the best package but it ain’t happening...

We’re gonna have a top 5 pick, Beal, Rui, Deni, Bryant as our only players worth a damn going into the summer...

Brad and Ted are on the same page. He wants to stay in DC. Ted doesn’t want him gone.

We’re stuck cause of Westbrook. I swear having Wall around would have made this situation way better. Wall is the better player and a legit floor general..

Bertans is movable since his deal in year 5 is only guaranteed partially and he should be better by the end of the year at his one skill set.

Other than that... we don’t have any bad contracts and by and large have our picks. But Tommy gotta go. Before anything I want that President of Basketball Operations post filled.

Brad brings so much to the table he straight up deserves better...I just hope he gets traded to the right situation...

Denver would actually be a really good look for him and they have the pieces to get a decent exchange..
