"Easter egg hunting, they gotta look for something"

Drakes credibility was proven from years of him writing his own raps. It's no secret that on Take Care he took some of The Weeknd's songs and made them his. Same thing was done with QM on IYRTITL. Ya'll just reaching again. Someone make a thread calling out Kanye and Lil Wayne if getting help or ideas for a song is the same as using a ghostwriter. People fail to remember Drakes introduction to the world was by way of Lil Wayne spitting his verse on Money To Blow at the MTV Awards. nikkaz thought it was Wayne's raps. So does that mean that Wayne is not a credible rapper?

That's true, however Drake writes 97% of his music alone and the other 5 songs together with QM. nikka had like 4 bars on RICO, cats act like he wrote the whole song :camby:

The fact that yall think these rappers (especially supetstar ones) actually have time to write verses, hooks, chrouses, and structure a song all by themselves is hilarious. Yall really dont know how the entertainment industry works. Its not easy to make songs, let alone hit/good songs.

The fact that ogs like ice cube givin passes on ghoswriting further proves that fact.

Noah only sent out those 20 tweets as damage control. I'm glad his own words are coming back to bite him and Drake. LOL @ all you dudes trying to throw certified rap LEGENDS under the bus instead of just calling it like it was. Drake got exposed and his own producer said this. LOL, pure comedy seeing the building collaspe on there faulty logic on ghostwriting. Now the goal post moving is getting funny:

1st it was: Meek is lying he has no evidence.
2nd after 10 bands reference: Well it was just the first verse and QM was credited
3rd, 3 more reference released: Everyone's done it from Michael Jackson to Biggie to NaS to Jay, all the rappers use Ghostwriters.
4th R.I.C.O. proves QM didn't get credit: It was just one song and 4 or 5 bars
5th Drake's own producer words: But what about his other albums, lol.

SILENCE, you have no more excuses.

Them Lo Lifes...
My question to you is this: wouldnt you rather just listen to the ghostwriter rap than the dude reading his raps?
See, When you say ghostwriter, what are you implying?

All this is in the context of commercial rap..correct?

Wayne never really got the business when it came out Gille was writing for him, and he got more popular...

So again you have street rap for authenticity which I'd rather hear come from the person directly....(like Id be really flabbergasted if Jay Elec didnt write his rhymes..)

And pop music where you have collaborators who put together a song to specifically cater to an artist..which I enjoy as well..(Diddy, Drake,Ye)

So really, I never took Drake as a lyricist, he IS a good performer..where you have Meek battle tested who's track record speaks for itself.

The Meek meme's where funny and July had hella content. But August has started off slowly... now journalists gotta do they homework for them clicks. Drake is looking funny in the light.

Im finna dap this, but Meek got nobody to blame but himself for being a national joke right now. Can't defend him

An ordinary person spends most of their time at work correct? Now imagine you have no job and you're just a full time rapper...obviously you send your time not sleeping orpartyingin the studio.Iantbeleive something this simple needs to be explainedd.

Ima need receipts for the Gillie/Wayne ordeal..last time I checked Gillie said he never wrote for wayne he only coached him on delivery. And there have been zero reference tracks to come out..and Wayne got better lyrically after Gillie and him had the fallout..quit comparing the situations. Doesn't add up. Drake is a confirmed user of ghostwriters...for wayne it's just speculation . He did have help on his Rebirth album but that's not even rap

Difference is we've been hearing about this for years. The Kia Shine shyt. The Shi Wisdom shyt. The Weeknd penning TC. Nickelus F. We chose to ignore it because we had no proof. Till now.

I don't hear anything about other artists not writing their own shyt. We've been hearing about Drake for years.
So years of allegations of dude not writing his own shyt from the very beginning, yet he still manages to be one of the hottest rappers of his time, getting respect from most of his peers and general public...

See where im goin with this..

Yeah
Stop doing this to yourselves. This proves Drake writes his own shyt. 40 is his right man and Drake is his bread and butter. You think dude would even utter those words if Drake was a Kanye type performer? Yall still clinging to a few lines and a couple of hooks out of HUNDREDS of verses. You all lost on all angles. Move on.
YOU MADDDDDDD YOU MADDDD :laff:

Rumors are nothing. It's about facts. There were rumors about Armstrong for years. When he got exposed? It was different.

So why are more rappers (even ogs) supporting ghostwriting drake and not meek who "writes his own shyt". Because ghostwriters are common as fuk and has been used up and down the rap game... Cassidy also said something recently about this beef that further validates this
