40 is his right man and Drake is his bread and butter.

You just answered your own question.

Let's say 40 felt like this. Let's say Drake, at any point in their collaborations, walks into the studio with clearly ghostwritten verses, reference tracks, whatever.

You seriously think 40 is going to end his partnership with Drake over principles?

What world do you live in?

This is about as moronic as people saying "well, Quentin Miller said he's not the ghostwriter, so case closed".

Yeah, they're going to fukk up their money to "keep it real" for hip-hop.

The sad part is I know you know better than to present this argument.

He's a Fraud who was exposed plain and simple

Remember When Noah "40" Shebib Said, "In Hip-Hop, You Must Write Your Own Raps"?

"In hip-hop," 40 explained, "you must write your own raps. If someone else were to write them for you, you'd have no credibility whatsoever, and you'd be out of the window immediately."

"

That's right put their own words against them. The Caping for Drake not writing his rhymes has been the funniest sh!t ever. The media is also finally reporting the truth as well. That R.I.C.O. evdience got there souls burning cause they were caught even after trying to spin it.

you repeating that line over and over doesnt change anything either. he's still a fraud and you stans are not fans of hiphop. you're fans of POP music. so go over there with that nonsense.
I bet i have more hip hop in my itunes than most of this board. Lets be real, rap changed after 2000-2001. Its entertainment now. Theres no culture in it. And everybody getting upset isnt going to change anything. Im a fan of drake, it is what it is. Is he in the nas/jayz/pac/ biggie category? No way :heh: but he makes the best music right now and until that changes he isnt going anywhere

Them Lo Lifes...
Drake is Pop.

Meek is Street.

When will yall stop bytching about the authenticity in rap and just enjoy the music..

If you dont like'em or like the fact he dont write his rhymes...okay..AND?

Drake STILL gone get fans, the machine will be behind him until he MAJORLY fukks up..and even still he'll have fixers to clean up the media frenzy.

This is what is is.. Meek represents what rap music is, Drake is what the establishment wants rap music to be.

Look at each as a icon representing the state of Hip Hop today...polar opposites.. from music, to attitude to upbringing to skin tone...its more than just a Diss or a Beef

Its just fukked Meek wound up looking like the fall guy/turncoat/whistleblower for the situation....which I personally think was a calculated move...they just used his emotions and character to help establish a platform..

I see where this headed. You can have this thread.
"A" for effort. I'll email
Of what? You saying Drake never wrote any of his verses? He got help with some songs. So what. Kanye and Wayne are greats and both have gotten help and co writer credits. I don't deny them anything that they've accomplished. So why are we splitting hairs for Drake? They all have gotten help with songs. You just upset over nothing. Tell em why you really mad breh.
I'm saying what 40 said. Refer to his own words. You should tweet him ask your questions

My question to you is this: wouldnt you rather just listen to the ghostwriter rap than the dude reading his raps?
