If you were really bout it bout it, instead of sitting there patiently waiting for the prayer to be over, like everyone else is, you'd either excuse yourself from the table or just start eating.

but what if you start chokin? :shaq:

how is that judging? if you're a hypocrite, you are what you are, i'm not about to believe some shyt you don't even take heed to :heh:

and that's gresat breh, yall continue to praise the lord together. when you get a robe, you go shout all over god's heaven...i'll be chillin in the dirt :jawalrus:

Being a christian doesn't exempt you from sinning and having flaws. It's not like you wake up one day purified and free from all your previous shortcomings. Yes the church is filled with hypocrities, liars, cheaters, adulterers, murderers....because it's filled with real life people who have the same problems as everyone else

The purpose is not to be a perfect person after becoming saved, even though that's the standard a lot of non Christians hold believers to, because 1) That person does not exist 2) Trying to live perfectly is an impossible goal to achieve. The idea is to realize that you are flawed and identify these shortcomings, do your best to eliminate negative things from your life, and when you do backslide into sin and temptation (which WILL happen DAILY) to not let these things take control of your life....always moving forward

If someone held you to the standard you just typed "That Dora did (such and such) before, why would I ever listen to anything she says" regardless of how you're living now Wouldn't it be a cold world for you to live in? Fill in the parenthesis with any personal issues/sins you've had in your life, then ask yourself what human doesn't have something like that in their lives others could use to disqualify their opinion if they took the train of thought you used? Thankfully salvation is not based on good deeds or living perfect but from Faith alone.....otherwise nobody would be good enough.

You sound like a miserable person, obviously because a lack of faith, but I'm sure you want to be miserable. But on the topic; you're like a shy stripper, you mak no sense, you're never going to get it.

Deleting someone off Facebook is intolerance now? Just take a look on here and see which group of people attack another group of people constantly. It's non believers always trying to prove they're right, they sound pretty unsure of themeselves to me :lolbron:

You completely ignored my question:

When you ignore something in the bible or say something in the bible is immoral or wrong, whose morality are you using to make that decision?

Please tell me your thoughts on killing kids for talking back or stoning women for having premarital sex.

what's interesting? especially if it's your family. you supposed come through your parents' house like "fukk YO RELIGION nikkaS....:eat:" It's called decorum, does it hurt a non-believer to just be silent and let them do their thing? I have a Muslim friend who sits through Christian friends' prayers, you don't usually disrespect your family and friends just to flex.

You don't have to lecture.
You could always excuse yourself from the activities you don't feel comfortable in. And I didn't know not being there at a prayer is disrespectful.

So all the atheists so far admit that they just sit there and implicity go along (keeping in silence) keeping up charades to avoid conflict?

Interesting.
Its about picking your battles dude. Every rational person does it. In regards to the OP's scenario of a family saying prayer I'm not going to make a fuss out of it. If you as, I'm assuming a christian, went to a Jewish person's house during Passover and the head of the house hold asked you to join them for Passover dinner will you agree out of politeness since they bothered to invite you or would you say "nah breh I don't believe in that jew stuff" and sit off to the side while they eat.

Is it necessary that everyone needs to know your inner thoughts and opinions in your offline social situations? Do you insert your social and political opinions into every situation? If you do, I would wager a lot of people would find you annoying because you don't understand the concept of moderating your opinions based on when its the most appropriate or in the most apt situations breh

We all have a belief system that influences how we our lives...

Everybody believes in something...

I believe in things...that have evidence.

I don't believe in things because someone says I should believe it. Faith is not a good means of discerning if something is true or not.

Interesting.

well yea. religious people outnumber us so we just let shyt slide because we don't want to be bothered with arguing over it.

We actually value spending time with our family. Religion doesn't mean anything to us. Its you guys that would rather use it as a means of division.

right, because there's really some firey pit that my soul is going to burn in forever :aicmon:

thus another reason i don't believe in christianity, you mean to tell me i'm supposed to believe everyone who isn't a chirstian is going to hell? stop that

no, i don't know the heart of every christian, but i've seen enough fukkery & hypocrisy come from religious folks to know that i don't see the need to join them in their beliefs....i also seen enough people living boring uptight lives because of religion to know i'm not fukking with them either.

Believing in God is a good start. To be out here alone with no one having your back when you perish, is tragic.

I hope you go to the right heaven.

It'd suck to end up in Egyptian hell. :pacspit: :usure:

Where do you think you're gonna go, friend? You know the atoms that make your body have form and presence, arent just destroyed when you die. Something happens to them. Atoms react differently under observation. Lets be with God so our atoms are confiscated by hell.

Why do enjoy spending time with people you have already categorized as stupid?
Sounds torturous to me.

Well I'm Muslim I don't follow the bible. I never blatantly ignore anything regarding my religion, I'm a human I sin, I make mistakes, I'm far from perfect.

There's nothing in the Koran that says kill kids for talking back :heh: they deserve a whooping, yes. Sure if we can set up a court and a society that follows Islamic laws stoning of adulterer is fine by me, gives people all th more reason not to commit adultery, as to the society we live in (globally) promotes it.
