The climate is different. This track is to its era as any of the Beans tracks or a few Figgas tracks were for the late-90's to early 00's. Hell Ram Squad had a few Philly anthems, in their day that are still Pilly classics. And Will has Brand New Funk BUT the most iconic hip-hop song out of Philly is Summertime. It's not even close.

That superbowl moment is huge. The city is supporting him in his tough moment. The song is 6 years old and has only gotten more renowned and acclaimed.

Summertime is just an overall classic. It doesn't make me think of Philly. But I'm not from there so my perception of the song and smith in general is more detached.

I've never heard a Meek Mill song in-full since he's boring, IMO.....but I (and everybody else) has heard Fresh Prince and Black Thought.

I threw Eve in there since she's from Philly and more people know who she is than Meek Mill.
