I mean its up there.

I never really liked that song, but its definitely a top 3 rap anthem to come from here. the best thing about it is that it shuts down venues & places where I initially wouldn't even expect the song to be known. its like the rap pledge of allegiance for millennial rap fans across the map.

if we're talking iconic philly music as a whole, its too early to call. theres songs that are like 50 years old that are still everywhere, or changed the game.

You forgot about The Roots, Beanie Sigel & Freeway who made countless classics. But it's the current theme for Philly. It's also the cool thing to support Meek cause he's in prison. But nobody was backing him when he was out. Shows how fickle and fake people really are. The media especially.

IMO growing up it’s ALWAYS been Aint No Stopping Us Now until the past couple years when Meek been gettin that shine heavy. It’s the song you play that shuts everything down and ppl go crazy, simple as that.

i don't know if this counts but
"Gonna Fly Now", also known as "Theme from Rocky", is the theme song from the movie Rocky, composed by Bill Conti with lyrics by Carol Connors and Ayn Robbins, and performed by DeEtta West and Nelson Pigford. Released in February 1977 with the movie Rocky, the song became part of American popular culture after main character Rocky Balboa as part of his daily training regimen runs up the 72 stone steps leading to the entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art in Philadelphia and raises his arms in a victory pose, while the song plays. The song was written in Philadelphia. The song is also often played at sporting events, especially at sporting events in the city of Philadelphia or featuring sports teams from there.

I don't know why this song isn't used more. This ish give you chills, especially if you're from Philly. You come out to this, and you're opponent becomes a nervous wreck. When it was announced they'd come out to Meek, I asked my mans why isn't Rocky used more

He said most iconic. Everyone knows the words to Summertime. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, it's in constant rotation. Meek ish gets the same reception as What We Do, Flipside, Glamorous Life, P-H-I-L-L-Y, Brand New Funk. Those are Philly classics along with a couple of RAM Squad jawns, Tuff Crew, a few others

I'm a Boss was bigger than Dreams & Nightmares and look what happened to that.

Summertime is the most iconic rap song from Philly but OP is probably from some white borough in London so he wouldn't know that
