:dead:AARON GORDON BALLED OUT
IN A COUPLE GAME BECAUSE
GOBERT WAS ASSIGNED TO HIM.

Are you talking about this game? :laff:

Only 5 shots were made when Gobert was defending Gordon.

0:03 Gobert collapses on the KCP drive and Gordon hits an open three. Timberwolves' defense is for him to collapse on that, not stay home on a 29% three-point shooter.

2:07 Gordon hits a stepback fadeaway on Gobert. They're going to give him that Kobe shot every time.

2:12 Conley gets lost and KCP catches the pass wide open 5 feet from the hoop. Gobert has to collapse and Gordon hits the three on Conley.

3:08 Gordon hits a wild 18-foot fadeaway after Gobert tips the pass as the shot clock expires. They're giving him that shot EVERY time.

3:26 Jokic got a mismatch 5 feet from the basket on McDaniels and Gobert came to double, Gordon got the open layup. You could argue that Gobert should have stayed home.

Gordon had 15 points and 5 assists when guarded by other players compared to 12 points and 1 assist when guarded by Gobert, and only 2 of those points were due to any defensive lapse by Gobert.

Meanwhile, you're ignoring that Gobert's PRIMARY responsibility is to be an off-ball defender disrupting shyt, so the performance of his on-ball responsibility is never the primary story. If the Timberwolves were better without Gobert like you claim, then why were they -13 in just 8 minutes with him on the bench? Why did Gordon play his best basketball in the 2nd quarter when Gobert was sitting? And most importantly, if the Wolves would do better by benching Gobert, then why have the Wolves sucked with Gobert on the bench in 9 of their last 10 playoff games?

Wolves have no experience playing game 7 on the road in playoffs with Gobert and Conley being the most experienced. You trust them in a road game 7 over the home team but if they get blown out you will blame Gobert or KAT.

This Denver team is 3-1 in Game 7s (and had won 4 Game 6s too).

This Timberwolves team had never won a Game 5, 6, or 7 before tonight.

Just on experience combined with home court, I think Denver has to be a heavy favorite. But after tonight and Denver's inconsistency this postseason, anything could happen.

Keep eye on who is the selected ref will be the morning of. I'm sure it will be either Scott Foster or Tony Brothers on Sunday. If that's the case Denver wins. Unless Pacers and Knicks go to game 7 and they branch those corrupt guys to different games.

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
Game 1: +12 with Gobert, -5 without him
Game 3: -10 with Gobert, -17 without him
Game 4: +9 with Gobert, -17 without him
Game 5, -2 with Gobert, -13 without him
Game 6, +30 with Gobert, +15 without him

Literally EVERY game he's played, the team has been better with him on the court than off of it. For those five games, they're +39 with Gobert on and -37 with Gobert off.

Suns series, same thing.

Game 1: +19 with Gobert, +6 without
Game 2: +12 with Gobert, 0 without
Game 3: +21 with Gobert, -4 without
Game 4: +10 with Gobert, -4 without

Overall for the 10 playoff games he's played in, they're +101 with Gobert on the court and -39 with Gobert off. Y'all have no clue what you're looking at.

@CHICAGO is an idiot, I thought you knew

I just like to dunk on him occasionally.

@CHICAGO claims that Gordon "went off" in this game cause Gobert was guarding him:

Only 2 of Gordon's 18 points come with Gobert defending him. :mjlol: :mjlol: :mjlol:

And Gordon's second-best game this series was the one Gobert didn't even play in. :dead:

:mjlol:STOP PRETENDING YOUVE
WATCHED ANY GAMES IN THIS SERIES
YOU fukkING CLOWN.

THIS IS EMBARRASSING.

Game 4: Scored 12 of 27 points when guarded by Gobert, most of which was when Gobert had to collapse on other players at the rim.

Game 2: Scored 0 of 20 points when guarded by Gobert.

Game 5: Scored 2 of 18 points when guarded by Gobert.

Those were the only 3 games this series where Gordon balled out. Since you watch the games, you can tell us which two games you were talking about. :skip:

Very unpredictable series. Denver stop trying by the 2nd half and are preparing for the next game. You don't wanna waste your whole energy on a game where nothing is falling. This has been a same trend in other series as well. Like the Pacers Knicks one where Knicks got destroyed in game 4 but looked fresh in game 5 and did the same on the Pacers.

As Denver has played in a few series before where they needed 7th game, I imagine their core won't feel too much pressure. The bench however that's a whole another story.
