i hear you but all i'm sayin' is i think there are others who didn't get the proper credit they should have and that i think it was more of a group effort than anythin, outside of dr. dre bein' like the conductor of the whole thing. but i think others bring a lot more to the table than they are given credit for

i agree with you 100%

Snoop don't wanna give people credit for bringing ideas to the table because if he did he'd have to look himself in the mirror and realize he's become Rhianna. I still wonder who the fukk wrote Doggystyle cause Snoop hasn't shown 1% of that talent on any song let alone album since. The Snoop on Doggystyle was an MC. Hardest falloff since Penny Hardaway but since the consumer base can't tell the difference he's made it to the 40 year in the game mark by becoming a chariacature.

snoop had alot of DOC help. But also you have to look at it from the perspective of him becoming a rap icon and living that life. He didn't have time to focus 100% on rhymes anymore. It's the whole reason most of these dudes get writers to help or co-producers. There's just not enough time to do it like you used to becuz of all the other surrounding shyt you have to do. interviews, tours, etc etc. if you have a family especially

A music producer is like a movie director. Not all directors write the scripts of the movies they direct but it's their direction that guide the final product. They assemble all the pieces using their vision to create the final product.

This is a case of people misusing a term rather than Dre not being a producer.

Most talent-less man in hiphop. doesn't write his own raps or produce his own hits.

Biggest fraud and still made a billion out of it.

This is who nikkas should look up too.

Stop. Where is a Daz's Chronic? Where is Warren G's Chronic 2001.

Dre has been making hits consistently for three decades through different eras with different sounds but he's talentless right? It was Yella, Daz and Scott making the hits right?
Where are these guys now?

I mean to be honest I been around major artists and even Z list labels the schedule is you go to the studio at night and stay til the morning at least 3 nights a week. If Lil Bow Wow is doing it Snoop gotta be doing it he got a damn in home studio which is a lot of reason dudes dont believe in those cause you dont go in as often or collab as much and snoop damn near king of the corny collab. Hes in this odd space where he may have simultaneously had one of the w oat on mic falloffs and off mic opportunity comeups.

This isn't the case . . while artists wither in these conditions others will flourish and be inspired by the new experiences

I think nobody care about Snoop the rapper; he's running around like a weed mascot and a clown. That's why he's still relevant. And he got cash. In Hip-Hop, if you got cash, you're somehow "relevant".

I hated Snoop in this interview..he undermined the shyt out of Daz..talkin bout "all he did was make the beat" like that aint worth shyt...

here was the original beat made by daz

tbh you can kinda see what snoop meant. dre turned this into a monster.

no I can't...it's a sample..Daz flipped it...Dre mixed and mastered it and added a few touches...shyt DEF don't take away from what Daz did...the beats already laid out basically...Drums n everything..

People still on this

Dr dre always been on a different production style

A producer doesn't always have to make the entire beat in the grand scheme

When Rick ruben makes rock records do you think he plays the instruments?

When producers get to a certain level all they have to do is get a bunch of talent in a room and conceptualize.
