@Chip Skylark lets be realistic here what opportunities are there in Mississippi for someone who wants a white collar position?

If it were available like that with similar salary your fraternity brother would have been there with you a long time ago.

Mississippi is cheap but also ranked as one of the worst states in the nation for many other issues.

Ive learned every place is almost the same. You have to grind and hustle everywhere cause ive lived everywhere and every place has its pros amd cons. Would you rather make 100,000 and live in MS and travel places or 100,000 in NYC? :hula: i know people who are making 50k in NY and and struggling but here i know people who make 50k and live comfortable. shyt when i visit everyone whose older complain about the congestion and lack of space but it seems to be younger people who are in love with NY. shyt i love NY but only to visit

The only amenity that is worth paying exorbitant rent for is proximity to work......and I am talking 15 mins tops.........by foot

The dream is highly paid telecommute work from a low COL location

San Fran Software Engineer salary with remote work in Austin, TX :ahh:.

Honestly, only Manhattan makes sense for those prices ONLY if the rent is less than 25% of your income. Very walk-able, good transit and access to a plethora of restaurants, bars and events.

I just sold my house and moved into a studio in downtown Pittsburgh three blocks from my office and I am paying way less than half of this. NYC is a 6 hour drive. I'm good.

And here is the thing too....I dont care how much amenities these brehs talk about.....what is a greater amenity than a comfortable home?

I be seeing these places and the sizes of the bathrooms and kitchens are ABOMINABLE

Technically I stay in the Metro Atlanta area in Gwinnett County. Yes its 900sq ft
Oh so you're outside of city limits. I'm assuming your address doesnt say "Atlanta". ANyway Gwinnett is cool. Just a little far for me. I lived in a few places outside the perimeter and always seems like i was far from the city.
Now that im in the city, i like it but the traffic, tho :why:
You lost. You pay that much to stay in that fakkit ass city?:scust:
From what I hear gays been running ManHattan since the 80s :usure:
It really is a trip to see people put the cape on for high rent :pachaha:
Rent, period. Even worse when it's this high

The fact that you tryna clown shows that nikkas priorities in the wrong place.

Shiid if my parents owned a 4 floor brownstone i'd be sprinkling glass in ALL the food:blessed:
So either you were left a house by a family member or you are the beneficiary of someone else? I don't understand what you're saying. Whose generational wealth are you benefitting from, meaning how can you live rent-free if you do not own the home yourself.

I am about 25 minutes away from downtown Atlanta, Gwinnett is cool it is not too crazy out here. Night lights is just a bunch of sport bars though and few lounges catered to older adults like mid 30's and up. Lucky for me my job is in Gwinnett so I do not have to travel the interstate.
