Ya'lls hate for BBB is irrational.

If you don't have stock in the company (which you don't because there's no IPO), stop acting like bitter bytches and let this man do his thing

LBJ got $90 million almost 15 years ago.

Bo Jackson was injured before he could make football high end sporting apparel rival the Jordan brand.

nikkaz acting like this endorsement shyt is some everyone can do it shyt.
When football apparel was never terraformed in the same manner as the mythos of Jordan apparel branding.

nikkaz talking like they got a flight suit from everybody....
No, you only got a flight suit from Jordan.

Stop trying to bring up lavar balls's goofball lack of market research based bullshyt venture to compare.

Well football apparel doesn't quite sell like basketball shoes. Dudes aren't out here buying cleats and football tights for fashion.

But I do wonder whether he's gonna have non football merchandise too, or at least whether there will be a lot of it.

So OBJ just hit Nike for the highest NFL contract ever - 5 years $25 mill, all profit.

https://www.google.com/amp/www.sbna...882/odell-beckham-jr-signs-nike-adidas-cleats

He will be able to live and feed the next few generations of his family just off his endorsement deal, which is gaurenteed, all profit, straight cash.

BBB might see 200k profit this year. $1m if they do the unexpected and go out of this world in sales.

How is this hustling? Just because your name is on it lol?

Also is Nike a slave master to OBJ? Is OBJ being exploited? Do tell. :usure:
Yeah because the government doesn't care about taxes:mjlol:

John Walls sold 25m worth of shoes last year?

Also, you do know this is the largest NFL show endorsement ever right? Sounds like his lawyer was pretty decent.

Are you guys idiots?
Does Wall even have a shoe?

:ld: All I know is to generate Wealth should be the Ultimate goal...

All this talk is when nike gives you a 5 million dollar deal they are gonna reap the benefits... That's the difference between rich and wealth... We may agree to disagree its not that serious to me...:heh:

Being Rich is cool but being Wealthy is a whole nother level...Your saying its not???:jbhmm:

You bowed money to generate wealth

Its some players that are transcendent, and he's 1. Deion wore cleats. Vick wore cleats. OBJ can be the Steph of football. And he's in NY :mindblown:
And even so, they'll still never sell as much as a top basketball player. It's just the way it is. Basketball apparel is a fashion statement in many circles... football, not so much. Kids will ask their parents for Bron's shoes not only to play basketball, but to just wear. There's not as much flexibility with football players. The only way to even get close to that in football is with an athlete that transcends football, and they're hoping for that with Odell and his media presence.

Breh them shyts were tough. They came out my first year playing football and nikkas treated them like J's on the field. Ended up coping me three pairs. One to practice in, one for games and one to wear to school.

Folks saying football apparel can't sell like that is wrong. Vick was headed in the right direction. It just takes the right player. Cam could've been that guy but he squandered that this past season. Then again he did so by signing to Under Armour in the first place.

If I was OBJ, I'd have some kind of creative control over my products and have a shoe deal. Especially, since he's crazy about his cleats.

Fam you trying to be that guy with bold? Yeah technically you might be right how often is that the case in real life esp now? In the 90's people were wearing more football sneakers but now? Even then the best football sneaks weren't doing top basketball star sneaker numbers so how are people wrong my man outside of some anyone can hit the lottery steeze?

It's not that it can't sell "like that"... it's that it won't sell like basketball apparel. You said you were a football player and bought 3 pair. But that's cause you played football. There are nikkas out there buying 3 pairs of Brons or KDs that have never played a day of competitive basketball in their life.

Basketball shoes are bought, in a lot of cases, with no intention to be used for basketball. As a matter of fact, my little brother asked for two pairs of basketball shoes this past Christmas (not even some signature shoe either), and this dude plays basketball maybe once every few months.

it's just different.

I do agree that he (OBJ) needs some creative control... the designs he was wearing weren't some design that a think tank at Nike could come up with... they were done by a real artist, in touch with this generation.
