This is disingenuous. Console generations will still exist its just the transitions between them will be masked. Console generations exist because they put out a closed box piece of hardware that has a 5 or so year shelf life on it. That hasn't changed unless they're saying you can open an Xbox Scorpio up with out voiding the warranty and swap out components.
