They would commit that heavy to Alshon/Garcon?
honestly i can only see 1 or 2 wrs that played this year on the niners back next year. they whole group is getting slashed and replaced

niners were 99 mil under the cap starting today, signing jeffrey wont hurt them because the rest of the roster is so young

garcon is a short term contract, heavily frontloaded

That's the second time u changed the argument then grilled me on it. Stop.
:wtf:
you said pats let their defensive stars go. I asked you who out of the stars still performed well after they let them go. its an easy question, really- because the point is pats know exactly what they have in players and arent hesitant to replace them. tom brady is a HoF player. next time pats let a hof go and he'll still have a few pro bowl years AFTER, let me know

I agree with you on overpaying average QB's. If Glennon is 14 million I'd rather divi that money on 2-3 quality players and draft a QB. The Bears can start their rookie at a discount for 3 years and build the rest of the team like Seattle.

Look at the Jets and Fitzpatrick or any team that starts Hoyer.

You can win with a very good to elite QB if you build around them. The Eagles could have had a chip or two had they cut McNabb some WR's.
and the thing is, I sort of think glennon has some potential and could be a decent stopgap...but not at 15 fukking million :heh:
like Ive said in that other thread, von miller is getting 17.5m per year. and von miller had more impact on the superbowl than most qbs not named brady recently

I dont think you can build around a good qb without a D. you need a HoF qb then and even then its dicey as fukk. and those dont grow on trees. majority of qbs who will enter HoF soon besides manning bros will be ones drafted to a team in the middle of the draft or at the bottom of the draft. or in later rounds altogether.

I said asides from samuel. seymour was traded for a first round pick - if you actually read my initial post it says 'left without compensation'

aqib is one, definitely. two more.

Give up those 2 firsts for a qb worse and less accomplished fhan stafford in every way. Lovely

My point was made. Brady could have been dealt for a slew of picks at any time and never was. He's going to start at age 40. Nice argument 'adjustment' though.

hey Im not endorsing this in any way shape or form. I wouldnt even trade a single second rounder for cousins. I wouldnt give up two first rounders for most elite qbs.

and just so you know, the world doesnt resolve in the guy in your avi.

I bet we could have any 3 players on the niners roster and every pick in your draft for Stafford. Lynch already made the call and was told to fukk himself. You hate what you can't get. Sorry though.

brady is a surefire hall of famer who still plays at the highest level possible. asante samuel and aqib talib arent. its really simple. no one was trading ray lewis either.

even then, joe montana who is arguably the GOAT, was traded to the chiefs and it was absolutely the right move. joe's still salty as fukk about it but I dont give a shyt.

dont talk about defensive 'stars', when pats know when those stars are on decline or just dont wanna pay them. asante wanted a shytton of money and so did talib. brady kept taking discounted deals for most of his career even when being a surefire HoF QB :manny:
