Yang's best performance yet.
He did amazing & I think everyone knows he is smarter than them.

Whoever wins needs him in their admin.
And i dont even care about UBI.

He's already said he has no other political aspirations. I remember him tweeting it's president or nothing for him.

Wait. so Klobuchar said that when she met John McCain he couldn't speak so he pointed at words.
Then Biden said when he met McCain in his death bed he said you never met a problem you did not want to solve.

Who's lying? LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
They're democrats so they're both lying. McCain probably already flatlined when they saw him. Shyt, thats if they saw him at all.

Some short ( ish ) thoughts.

Harris - I'm sorry i don't even know what's the point with her anymore. I think she's choked this up far far worse than Beto considering she did great in the first debate, She doesn't have a big media machine that hates her like Beto does and at least with him i agree with on guns. With her i don't even know wtf going on anymore.

Beto - Yeah it's time to drop out, I think instead of running for senate he should be a national campaigner of sorts for the nominee plus house and senate candidates. I agree with him on guns and the principle of it. fukk them Republicans, i'm tired of us having to bow down on every single policy because its " a great soundbite and talking point for them " when republicans don't give a single fukk about what we want as liberals.

Warren - Maybe not her best night but at the same time thinking about it, she took the punches and that's one of the main things i've been concerned about with her is if she can take a hit and get back up, thought she passed that test.

Mayor Pete - Good lord the media absolutely adores this guy, Something like that could be useful against Trump but after everything is said and done it doesn't feel like he's really connecting as a leader. Real talk he's an inferior version of Mike Dukakis :yeshrug:

My money is on Bernie again. Warren did well, to me at least, but she wouldn’t stand a chance in a debate with Trump. His personality or more so persona, is way too strong for her, and I believe she’d flounder.

Yang basically disqualified himself with this dumbass line of attack. We should abandon antitrust efforts because they're "outdated"? :hhh:

I touched on my feelings when I broke down performances last night, but I really think Yang is great at marketing and selling his ideas but a lot of it is off base. I lost any trust for his UBI after the Rubin interview. He completely flopped with Mehdi Hasan and hasn't been pressed on issues like Hasan did since. And I just personally haven't been able to buy in for anything but drug proposal (democracy dollars are cool too, but I think you'd need to wrap 'em in a legislation package to really address campaign finance issues...they're a good step).

Yang - I thought Andrew Yang sold his ideas better than most people on the stage. He was able to press his UBI right up next to Bernie and Warren's bold solutions and not seem out of place with them. His drug policy proposal was the best on the stage. That UBI got a couple of co-signs too from Castro and Tulsi. But he also can be misleading on certain things. He's selling a VAT tax that has a LOT of room for error and easily becomes regressive because the costs pass on to the consumer in most real world cases. His UBI is designed in a way that will squeeze some social services (VAT tax + squeezing other social services = the Friedman model period). He also mentioned European wealth taxes to push back against Warren but Warren's proposal actually took lessons from the failed Euro Wealth taxes so he was fronting heavy there. I think you could argue he was top three, but I think if you contextualize what he's selling there are still a lot boxes he isn't ticking. That said, he's gotten better each time out and deserves his polling standing as he consistently outperforms most of the field.

Yall know Bernie's my top dog. But I actually felt more confident in Warren vs Trump after last night tbh. When Biden yelled right in her face about the CFPB, she didn't bat an eye and hit one of my favorite counters of the night without stepping out of character even a little bit by showing immense gratitude to Obama :mjlol:. I get the heads that were offput by her performance, but she was forced to fight back attacks from like five different people sometimes in waves on one topic. When it was just her heads up with someone, I thought she held it down well. Trump is a different animal though, that's definitely hard to predict. I just picture his lack of savvy winding up with Warren talking like an adult while Trump looks like an angry teenager doing the old stereotypical Native American sound effects or some cornball ish.

Breh, I actually put that in my original post (Biden vs Warren) but deleted it lol. She really did hold her own, and she thanking Obama was :blessed:
. My only complaint is that Trump would be 20x more aggressive than Biden was last night. He would completely eclipse the room and more than likely go below-the-beIt if he’s challenged without a concrete answer...I personally hate his debate style. I do wonder how’d she hold up against him, though.

I think Warren will do fine in the general election debates, but they also won't matter. This is about to be the most polarized election in generations. No one is going to be swayed one way or another because of a couple of debates. They'll serve as entertainment, not much more. The election will be won or lost on turnout. Warren will win because her platform and political identity speaks to the groups who Democrats need to turn out.
