One thing with Yang, he has enough money to go through Super Tuesday

Thats where my thinking was at.

Let it wittle down. If hes in the final four or five then he can crack double digits

Buttigieg wears off...bloomberg and steyer cannibalize each others mythical "base", booker and castro officially drop out..tulsi drops out...there are points out there to be had

van jones is such an establishment shill...breh is sitting here trying to go in on warren...whole CNN panel is. this station is :camby:

You're probably right fam, the only pause for me is if Yang is vanishing on this debate stage then lord help him in front of Trump. But just generally speaking, I think Castro's vision feels more coherent. His UBI alone would probably carve out a strong electoral performance though, I definitely can't front about that.
damn, forgot what documentary i was just watching on youtube with focus groups in rural ohio, UBI would be opposed by the folks who need it most. "people need to get up and go work for a dollar " (next question) "we dont have many good paying jobs here and we don't have money" "i use food stamps"...."but nooooo, no handouts and people become dependent and THEY :mjpls: abuse the system" :bryan:

just crazy how much these people contradict themselves when they feel like "someone else" is getting entitlements

if 1k a month is all he has to offer, and his medical plan is less ambitious than bernie's, he is just throwing good money after bad

His website is extensive. He hasnt done a good enough job of marketing his other policies

He needs to change that ASAP to avoid the one trick pony syndrome that bernie is dealing with

debate recap...nothing really changed

  • i think bernie, biden and warren all did decent and keep their positions
  • amy had a decent night by proxy of having so much talking time, it will be interesting to see if she sees a bump
  • yang and steyer didn't move and time is likely up on steyer
  • i think pete got beat down, he definitely fired back at folks, but he was peeled apart by multiple people, wine cave pete and "local politician" are gonna stick

van jones is awful :snoop:

Yeah. He has 360,000 donors and climbing. Raised $5M since the end of November.

Regarding Yang, if this guy can't speak up for himself during a debate amongst his peers then why should I believe or trust he'll speak up for American interests in a room full of world leaders? He talks a big game on the campaign trail, but he can't speak up in the debates :francis:

Thats a valid point. I actually just tweeted at him something regarding that. He needs to be more forceful out there ASAP. He has shown enough of his friendly and funny side. Hes gotta be assertive and more aggressive out there while not contradicting his base nature. If that aspect isnt at all in him then even he knows hes not built for this

I agree
his plan was :snoop:

I told him to look up Jon Walker’s MICA plan.

I will say his messaging on special needs and drug pricing has been better. But too many gaps on healthcare.

the same with people saying "but he just needs to do better at explaining other stuff" when he does talk, which he's scared to do, he doesn't explain shyt...like isn't the onus on the candidate to convince me of their vision? or at least get me on the hook enough to want to research more? he doesn't seem anywhere close to being able to compete in a general, compete against trump, nor serve as president. have no command of the stage when given it politely snd expect me to think you'll command respect from and build coalitions with your serving congress brehs

This is valid criticism. Cant have qualms with that

Hes the greenest out of any of these people though to politics. He has the room to develop as a candidate and the money to allow him the time to. If he was a member of congress, governor or even mayor presenting himself like that i wouldve written him off already

this is why i keep saying he needs to get out the way. i have nothing against him personally, but he's not ready to be running for president, let alone be president.
