That's horrible. They don't share the ball and that's alot on Brunson. Add in that Brunson and KAT are horrible on defense. There was no shot at NY beating the Pacers

I think this is hyperbole. The Knicks lost a game that teams win 999 of 1000 times. If that miracle doesn't happen, Knicks are playing tomorrow at home for a chance to go to the Finals.

Yeah I think the Knicks have some issues that need sorting but to blow the whole team up and fire everyone seems a bit premature.

This was more about Carlisle adjusting to Thibs’ game 5 adjustment to me. In one game, he figured out how to get his team rolling again on offense. Thibs has yet to show that adjustment on the offensive side. His biggest adjustment was just ISO KAT when Brunson was on the bench.

Pacers stole game 1. Knicks stole game 3 so it evened out. I felt the Pacers were filling out the Knicks for game 1 and fell too far behind. But you could see the huge mismatch in game 1.

Pacers are to fast
Pacers have great ball movement and coaching
Pacers got 4 bodies to guard Brunson 94 ft and tire him out
KAT defensively could not guard the pick and rolls
Pacers are a deeper team

A lot of truth in that clip. Hart needs better coaching. Hustle is great but not knowing what to do in transition killed them. KAT makes a lot of stupid decisions, and the way he answered that question from Barkley showed lack of coaching.

I don't know who's out there, but Thibs has not been able to maximize the pieces Rose acquired. Thibs needs to change his approach, which he can't or won't, or they need to bring in a new voice. If they won't then the only logical alternative is to change the players. Running it back will most likely lead to the same results or worse.

Not Brunson. That’s a thibs symptom. Once you understand ball you’ll realize that
Know you got that off the bill simmons podcast why don’t you mention our offense going from elite to worse monthly literally based around playing Josh too much and having zero creativity
Every thibs team is near the bottom in assists every single year

Has Brunson proven he can thrive in any offense where he doesn't have the ball and just PNR and iso? That's not his game. He was the exact same way in Dallas. It was Luka and Brunson iso.

Wait til you find out most the league ISOs at the highest level and Haliburton is the outlier not the rule.
Brunson is amongst the best catch and shoot players in the league. Thibs doesn’t know how to leverage that without a big playmaker drawing a double team. (Coaching)

Culture reset begins in October. In order to nail down the details and hold players accountable, extend the rotation...Trust your bench in the regular season. Embrace a defense-first identity.
