This new Nexus 7 is nice. runs real smooth. for some reason HBOGo isn't compatible with it yet but should be pretty soon i hope. its way better than that pos Nook HD+. the only thing that had going for it was a higher resolution than most other mid-level tablets but it ran sluggish at times.

yeah play with a real device and stop the ios lovefest. devs have to update their apps

4.3 is ridiculously snappy on the GS4 brehs...

Biggest issue I noticed was the camera, it is significantly worse than the stock Samsung...Battery life so far seems to be on par with stock...

Aside for that some apps don't support it yet the biggest being foldermount so if you rely on that to move your games and shyt to your SD card don't bother flashing the ROM yet...

New Nexus 7 receives two updates at launch

An initial update to build JWR66N and subsequent update to build JSS15J are available
Early adopters of Google's new Nexus 7 are being greeted with software updates right out of the box. The first update will automatically begin as soon as the tablet connects to WiFi for the first time, usually during the initial setup process. The tablet will shut down, boot into recovery, apply an update to bring the build number up to JWR66N, and bring the user back to the setup screen to continuing signing into a Google account.

The second update comes in a more traditional fashion: it is downloaded in the background, and then triggers a system update notification in the notification tray. Once the user accepts the update and it is applied, the build number becomes JSS15J. Both seem to be minor updates, most likely containing some system fine-tuning and bug fixes.

How to enable Emoji on the stock Google keyboard. I keep seeing people having trouble getting emojis.

Step 1
Make sure you have the Google keyboard installed. If not go to the play store to download.

Step 2

Go to your phone settings then language and inputs. Scroll down and check the emoji input box. Its the last keyboard on the list. Then go back up Google keyboard and click the settings. It's the icon to the far right. Then scroll Down to advanced settings then click the other input method. Emoji will now be the globe ball on the keyboard by the mic icon.

Will this work on the GS3? Im using a 3rd party keyboard + emoji plugin but I'd rather use the stock or google keyboard if i can get the emojis on that

Try it not sure.....u need the google keyboard and the one i posted. both should be checked under language and input

the stans don't wanna admit it. i was a hardcore Android guy and last year when the iPhone 5 came out i was just curious so i bought one off somebody for like $600 just to play around with it cause i used my upgrade on the EVO LTE a few months before then. initially i desperately wanted to go back to Android but i stuck with it and eventually i came to realize they're both the same from a core functionality standpoint. I like many users have settled into a usage pattern of things i use daily and its about the same as it was on Android.

all the window dressings of Android don't distract me. they way you do things may be different from one device to the next but they can both do the same major things. cell phones have reached a point where the upgrades are more and more diminishing returns. once you settle into a usage pattern even with iOS being as restrictive as it is and all the customization Android offers you're likely to not even notice. i know i sure don't.

how did you get 4.3?? did u force the update??? go to your google account hit resync. make sure all the google accounts are checked or place the power widget on your homescreen and turn on sync

I'm not even on 4.3 my shyt just stopped pushing notifications all a sudden. Everything is checked. My twitter, fb, Gmail everything is, but none sync unless I open the app

you have sync off bruh i just told u how to fix it.....go to widgets then put the google power control widget on your home screen then select sync =issue fix
