Used the elliptical and lasted 20 minutes. I forgot how much I hate machines. They make me miserable. Made up for it with an hour of kickboxing and 30 minutes of power yoga.

I did 30 minutes of aerobic dancing and 10 minutes ( :mjlol: ) of kickboxing today. I want to do some more kickboxing before bed instead of my usual yoga but I feel like it might be too much. :lupe:

20 mins walking on incline at a pace that keeps your heart rate moving and u might be slightly outta breath.

young y'all ladies need to try this atlas 2 days week this shyt might be one of the best advice i ever gotten on cardio.

I usually do HILT anyway but mixing it like that with low intensity :wow:

If anyone is interested in a beginner strength routine here is one that I've been doing. I use 20lb dumbbells when I do it but you can use lighter/heavier weights, resistance bands or no weights at all. For the 60 secs of jump rope you can swap that out for anything. I've done 60 sec sprints on the treadmill, 60 secs of jumping jacks and 60 secs of hula hooping rotating clockwise and counter clockwise.

Upper Body:
Exercises 1
10 push-ups
10 bicep curls
10 tricep kickbacks
60 secs of jumping rope

Exercises 2
10 bent over rows
10 shoulder press
60 secs of jumping rope

Lower Body:
Exercises 1
10 squats
10 lunges on each leg
60 secs of jumping rope

Exercises 2
10 sit-ups
10 reverse crunches
60 sec plank

Putting it together
Day 1 Upper Body. Do Exercises 1 and 2; rest 2 minutes, repeat a total of 3 times
Day 2 Lower Body. Do Exercises 1 and 2; rest 2 minutes; repeat a total of 3 times
Day 3: Rest
Day 4: Upper Body. Do Exercises 1 and 2; rest 2 minutes, repeat a total of 3 times
Day 5: Lower Body. Do Exercises 1 and 2; rest 2 minutes; repeat a total of 3 times

I can't work out with other people. They talk too much and don't wanna do what I wanna do. I used to think I wanted a gym buddy but now I don't.
gym buddies are a bad idea
most peoples workouts are mishmashes of things they want done for their own bodies and everything down to the rest periods are really personal
