I can do one mile in 8 minutes but I cant do 2. :sadcam: I can barely do 2 miles in 20 minutes on pace. Its ok tho. I squeaked in today at 20 on the head. My endurance is building back up. If I can run 2 miles in 18 minutes by June Ima feel like a champ.

pace urself for the 1st mile then the 2nd mile pick up ur pace make ur strides out longer
it will take time but it will def increase ur time

i say time ur 2nd mile then ur goal would be to drop 30 secs each week if possible.
once ur able to drop a full minute on the 2nd mile

u should be able to pace urself a lil bit faster on the 1st mile is what i did

im not the fastest but I've done my 2 miles under 12 mins

i usually pace my first mile and my 2nd mile i haul ass big strides and all

@twan83 Ive just been dialing up the pace on the treadmill for the whole 2 miles. Like when I first started I was at 5mph for 24 minutes. Now Im up to 6mph for 20 minutes. When I tried it backwards (7.5 mph and just tried to go longer each time) I damn near flew off the treadmill about 9 minutes in :sadcam: BUT I never tried to split my time. Ill give it a try Friday.

That's ur first mistake get off treadmill that shyt don't help with outside running when gravity plays a factor outside like its uneven or rough where u might run
Also it's pacing for u you don't want that u need to establish ur own pace

Also include sprints with ur run like one day do nothing but sprints they don't have to be long ones just enough too really feel it that way it can give u that burst when u finish towards the tail end of 2 miles

Try running uphill also it can do wonders for endurance or running up steps or stadiums

It's alot I'm telling u but it works I've helped people improve
Their times this way granted I was physically there helping and motivating them

I've been really consistent for the past three weeks. One thing that I had to realize is that as much as I want to be, I am not a morning person.

Although I woke up early for two weeks to work out, it's just not me. Therefore, I've started working out at 10ish every night and it works for me.

Of course, my biggest accomplishment has been with my disciplined eating. I'm back to mostly eating clean.

That's when I work out 10pm :ahh:

I'm really confused about food doe .

I take my shake and maybe a pineapple or banana but I feel like my body wants more .

I have no clue what to do should I switch up my meal plan and eat a whole meal after my work out ?
