Did Shaun T's Cize today, back on it :wow:

Also, I tracked my food today and noticed I eat 191.6g of carbs, 63.4g of fat, 96.3g of protein, and 1520 calories. Is this good, bad? :lupe:

It really depends on your fitness goals. I only focus on Calories and Protein based on the method outlined in the gym. The carbs seem a little high but only if you're counting them. Repost in the gym random thoughts and one of those guys can tell you better than I can.

Weight loss is making me look older, IMO. Plus my head is turning into a long oval shape. :mjcry: I don't want or need this.

But to put this thread back on track I go to a 24 hour gym which is great because I mostly work out around midnight. Sometimes I'll go when I'm bored. I'm not that disciplined so I don't have a set routine, I just go whenever I feel like it.

I always do cardio, even if it's strictly leg day or arms.

I don't focus too much on my core at the gym, I have other methods for that and I tend to max out my sit ups on my APFT so I'm complacent until I start having issues.

I really cant stand squats but I know they help. My knees are weak for whatever reason so that makes it even more difficult. I haven't bought new running shoes in two years, I'm cheap as fukk :russ: and I know that isn't healthy :patrice:

I don't take supplements or protein shakes even though I really should. I only drink water and gatorade :blessed: I've been 120 lbs for three years now. Before that arc I was 111 for a certain amount of time. As I get older my body will gain a certain weight and just stay there.

My goal is to just be a faster runner. I can run all day but I'll get to the point where I might as well just walk. I also need a better mentality because once that cramp hits me I'm done son.

Y'all, I'm really trying to make an effort to go and get in shape and be inside the gym on a regular basis. I even found a reward for myself- buying workout clothing because I see cute tanks and stuff on Facebook.

My goal weight is 145. I'm currently 170s. So that's about 30+ pounds I want to drop. I think my lower half is fine, but of course I won't neglect it, so my main focus is strength training, abs and cardio. I'm at least trying to do an hour or so in the gym and 30 minutes at home using NTC and general calisthenics and I'm debating going back to pole class because I want to learn at my own pace but I don't have space for a pole. Once my year is up at Planet Fitness I'm moving to 24 Hour Fitness.

I like bread, I like cheese and I like sugar so if I stay conscious of that I can beat those cravings.

How tall are you ?
If 140 is your goals then you should go to 130-35ish to give yourself wiggle room.

Also take waist and hip measurement every 2 week , If waist is 10+ inches smaller then hips your on the right track.
Sometimes measurement your a better way to track weight loss then just numbers on the scale

By the way training abs or "core" is a waste of time, you have to get down to a certain bodyfat % in order to see abs, which is mostly achieved by dieting not training but diet and training gives fastest and best result.

If your diet is high carbs then your fat must be ultra low.

If your diet is high fat then your carbs must be ultra low.

Your Protien intake should match your bodyweight.

Caloric breakdown

1 gram of carbs=4 cals
1 gram of protein=4 cals
1 grams of fat = 9 cals

All sugar is created equal sugar from candy, fruit, milk, =fruitose, lactose=sugar=glocuse insulin spike=fat storage, is all the same, a low carbs diet should contain as little sugar as possible

Their are healthy fats:
Almonds
Fish oils
Olive oils
Natural peanut butter
Can all promote fat loss on a low carbs diet.
Stair stepper at a slow pace is best for fat burning.
Running is good for cardio health, but not for fat burning, if your heart is beating to fast your likely using glocose (sugar) as fuel and not fat.

Your age ____ - 220=______ 70% of that number_______ is your target heart rate for pure far loss.

Always train first and cardio last for best fat loss.

Personal trainers are in the business of making money.
I rarely ever charged anyone, especially a single mom due to fact that no one ever charged me when I was learning and new to everything.
