Show kinda loses it’s intensity when you realize damn near everybody has legendary plot armor.

Like how many fakeout deaths have we had? Allen, Kate, ant man chick, angstrom, Donald, Martian dude, and now it happened to eve & conquest. I’m pretty sure Rex & the mauler twins are the only established characters to have actually died so far but even they survived similar experiences in previous seasons because medical technology in this show is basically magic. Regular ass people like Debbie & Cecil got horribly maimed but they’re just up & around like nothing happened

Call me a hater but I liked the last couple of episodes, it’s just weird how it’s so violent with people praising its story when it’s actually pretty toothless with DBZ plot contrivances. It’s like all the civilian deaths(that the heroes barely give af about) are partly there to trick the audience that there’s barely any stakes regarding the main cast.

Damn dog.

They figure out how to give us transformers and gi joe the movie. Without ruining and undermining the entire franchise.
You have to commend that.

Were you cognitive @Burned Verses .
to see transformers the movie in the theater as a kid.

GOOD.

The last third of the story has by far the most questionable decisions in the story. Specially the use of the same narrative/drama tricks for no real reason. So I hope Kirkman does a better job at them, specially because they are inbetween some dope ass arcs and themes that get explored.

The elephant in the room on this show is still that Mark is the worst character on his own show. He's horribly written and it looks like Oliver is going to suffer the same fate.

He dad makes it clear to him if you don't fight viltrumites to kill them they will kill you because they are killers. Then he watches them pretty much kill his dad. Fast forward to Conquest pulling up and he's fighting like him the exact way his dad told him not to fight viltrumites. That's horrible character development/bad writing. We've already established viltrumites are kill or be killed status are mark never moved like he was trying to kill Conquest until Eve and Oliver were laying there on life support.

I think he was fighting like that because bruh was too strong

If Eve didn't save him he'd be dead
I agree with Mark being the WOAT

And I think if late game Mark had a crossover with DC or Marvel and they knew his decisions they wouldn't fukk with him

Yeah at this point in the series he of all people should know viltrumites are kill on site status but he doesn't really try until people he cares about are in danger which goes back to what Nolan told him last time he saw him

It's a terrible character development and looks really bad especially since this season did Cecil's character development for why he is the way he is.

Nah I'm saying he was not physically capable or skilled enough to beat Conquest on his own at that point in the story

If Eve didn't help, he would be dead

I agree with you in that he's a terrible person because of later developments, and Kirkman disappoints me as a writer, because he rarely has people in the story address it, they support it

The story of the world of Invincible ends on fascism

Unfortunately that's what happens in superhero shows with power creep. Plus we KNOW Mark isn't going to die since he's the main character. So you sit there watching him get his ass beat and just waiting for the tide to turn. You know he's not going to come out and just dominate. He just needs the right motivation... usually coming in the way of a loved one getting hurt. It's basically wrestling lol

Yea. Mark spent the last episode putting in work against variant Marks. He’s still a pup compared to Conquest, who’s the COLDEST of them all according to himself.
