The Japanese animation industry is infamous for basically treating its workforce like indentured servants, especially back in those days. So that's how and why.

Unless people want to go back to the old ways of exploiting animators and staff, with the information we know now, I think we should just appreciate what today’s animation teams can deliver on aggressive timelines by these greed corporations.

Animation in America has been names first over the actual animation in the show. I noticed this when I watched Justice League and Justice League Unlimited after I watched the last season of Invincible.

Add in the fact that when Walt Disney was alive he helped passed a law that animators and writers that work in animation couldn't unionize like on screen actors. The two biggest US animations studios, Disney and WB, don't even try to compete with the overseas market in 2d animation.

Because I recognized the voices here's a list of some people that worked on both shows or Invincible and another DC cartoon show.

I still enjoy Invincible because it is like those old Justice League cartoons. I thought Young Justice was going to restore the feeling but that shyt fell off after way too many delays. The last season I started watching and never finished started to look like a slideshow
