At this point I think it would be better served to ponder whose on the shortlist for the recast.


I’ve heard great suggestions like John David Washington and Stephen James. I also think casting a relative newcomer has merit IF the long term plan is for Shuri to eventually take the mantle.

I actually looked through John David Washington’s filmography on Wikipedia and he’s only got two films slated for next year and their both in Post Production so if that’s anything to go on he should be free.

Stephan James has only one film slated for 2021 and its in Post as well. So he should be free as well

I actually think old boy who played Black Manta in Aquaman would be a better T'Challa than JDW.

People are discussing either a new actor replacing Boseman or replacing the character T'Challa with Shuri as Black Panther. Neither option is shytting on black women.
