MJ really was in the right time period cause his ruthlessness would have been called out along with his leadership today. I remember how they called Kobe a a$$hole for years for doing similar things to his teammates. That narrative that nobody wanted to play with him cause of how hard he was on them affected both his(and the lakers) perception

jimmy butler also got a bad rap for holding teammates accountable

I've always thought social media would've made Jordan just as great as he was in his peak. A dude as competitive (like, legit crazy with that shyt) as MJ having a 24/7 motivation machine would've been trouble for anyone.

"Well he can't shoot threes" would've meant dude spent less nights in Casinos (also due to the change in preparation players have nowadays) and becoming a great three point shooter.

Once he won a ring, the "he's a horrible leader" talking point would've banished.
