Yep. There’s rampant grade inflation at the Ivy leagues too. I respect a graduate from MIT, CalTech or U of Chicago (and Stanford to a lesser extent) over the average Ivy League grad because I know those schools are notoriously difficult to get through whereas a lot of people are smart enough to study and get the 4.0 gpa’s and good test scores you need to get into top schools. But you can’t bullsh*t your way through MIT.
