Why not a 4 on 4 first?

I get why they don’t go it, in a Single Elimination Tournament, it should 5 on 5 for 20 mins than a shootout. Leave the goofy 3 on 3 stuff for the NHL regular season imo

Same reason why they changed Olympic men's tennis to best out of 3. I think it should be 4 on 4 for 10, and then a shootout.
