Canada is playing a smart defensive game and being opportunistic with their odd man rush when USA is being overly aggressive in their offensive execution. USA needs to be more patient with their possession and cycling, there were chances there imo. Next goal obviously is huge.

They aren’t finishing checks, and the Canadian system punishes you for not clearing players. Too many times we’re accepting getting tied up in the defensive zone and immediately it’s 2 on 1 or 3 on 2 in that area. Who is going to win possession in those situations?
