James, Wade, Bosh took paycuts to all play in Miami. Harden didn't take one to play with Durant and Westbrook. And OKC gets blamed? Passing up title shots over small stuff has haunted many players and executives.

but James, Wade, and Bosh all had their chances to be the main go-to-guy before taking paycuts though. Harden was too talented and too young to stay in the 6th man role. He already proved that last season with the Rockets.

I still can't count OKC out.

Watch this tune change when Jeremy Lamb starts balling next season for them and if Perry Jones pans out then it's a wrap if they can somehow keep all that talent. Losing Harden was bad but it's not like OKC's future is not still bright.

Jeremy Lamb can ball though and would have contributed throughout the year if he was on a team that sucked. For me Perry Jones is just wishful thinking but i'm not about to give up on a player who had top 5 talent and has not played a full season in the NBA yet.

The big mistake last year was not letting Lamb play. They could have developed him knowing K Mart was gonna leave this year.

:patrice: not sure what anthony randolph has to do with Jeremy lamb but yea.

i'm not even sure randolph could ever shoot 40-50-90 in the dleague let alone in a open gym

Thunder lost on the trade but its not their fault

That draft pick would have been Ben mclemore if the grizzlies didn't give Toronto Rudy gay for free

There's no way the thunder could have anticipated that

Mclemore is a better shooter than harden and a better athlete than harden, he would have fit in perfectly.

He probably won't ever be as productive as harden but okc was willing to live with that since he was gonna be playing for cheap for four years

Y'all are dense and refuse to accept that okc ownership REFUSED to pay Ibaka harden Durant and Westbrook

Common sense thing to do woulda been amnesty Perkins but they refuse to let someone collect checks for free. Mclemore and Ibaka vs harden is an easy decision

All im saying is he got that much to be a back up... Yes he could have won a championship possibly but he wanted to be the main guy on a team... And from the looks of it he is doing just fine... And Okc missed him in the playoffs after westbrook went down

Maybe OKC should have just started him instead of trying to be cute and making him Manu Ginobili

shytty Coach

Should have kept Harden over Ibaka and Perkins...small ball is the way to go.

Presti thinks he fukking Pat Riley...fukk Derek Fisher.

nikkas acting like Lamb is guaranteed to do something...wishful thinking ass nikkas. :beli:

Thunder are currently the second best team in the West....I am giving the benefit of the doubt to Westbrook that he comes back 100%. Possibly 3rd or 4th depending on the Lakers and D12. :whoo:

small ball doesnt mean you have zero bigs

ibaka can knock down 18 foot jump shots, he's one of the most athletic bigs in the league and he's a premiere defensive playmaker. you dont let guys like that get away.....especially when he only cost 3 mil more than taigo splitter

ibaka at 48 mil for 4 years vs harden 5 years 80 mil isnt a tough choice when you already have two of the top 10 scorers in the league with russ and durant and the owners aren't willing to spend

ibaka could easily average 15 a game with the right playcalling

They could arguably be 5 or 6 in the west next year if Dwight goes to Houston. You have the spurs, rockets, clippers, golden state and Memphis that could all be better than them
