Horrible trade for Orlando.
How can they agree to such a lopsided deal?:heh:

Even if the they don't make any more notable moves post-this trade, I still see them coming out better for it. No one player on their current squad is going to replace Ibaka's defensive impact and versatility (that much is a given). But they have more than enough pieces collectively to soften the blow - this will be reliant upon Durant spending more minutes at the 4 - with a lineup of Westbrook/Oladipo/Roberson/Durant/Adams closing out games.

Lack of shooting in that lineup is rough......

Defensively it's def there but man....

Wait, are you saying he is a great shooter or not a great shooter?

My point is that he is good despite not being a great shooter. Are you saying he's trash?
He's a GREAT shooter.

One of the best shooters in the league. Shot 45% from 3, best in the playoffs(50 made 3s is the cutoff).

Oladipo is a solid shooter and he's improved every season:

And he shot better than Ibaka from behind the arc on catch and shoot attempts and in general during the regular season. Lack of shooting was a problem for the Thunder when they ran that Westbrook/Waiters/Roberson/Durant/Ibaka lineup during the WCF and they still had success with it. Although Adams replacing Ibaka does shrink the floor, they have more than enough playmaking and scoring to make up for it. What really killed them in those final three games was Waiters going 3-18 and not being the reliable third scorer/playmaker they needed him to be - Oladaipo will fix all that.
