If we dump Kanter we'll have mid 20s of cap space. That's a max for a lot of guys

So you get rid of Ibaka and Kanter...

Then who is going to clean up all of KD and 5678 dumbass shots when they play hero ball aka the Thunder entire offensive set?

This teams biggest strength is it's rebounding and you talking about taking a chunk of that away...

He shot over 40% on catch and shoot and pull up jumpers after the all star break.

Really dislike this deal for Orlando. Sure it frees up minutes for Mario...but it forces Gordon to play the 3 and they'll have a huge problem if Fournier leaves.

So since he wasn't terrible after the all star break that makes him a good shooter now?

Are myself and @Malta really the only people in this thread who think you probably shouldn't be moving major pieces like Ibaka from a team who was one win away from the finals...especially when said player has been money pretty much his whole career against a team you know you will have to play in the playoffs, the spurs...?

I can only hope they plan to flip Erysan some sort of way...cause if they go into the season with Erysan and a rookie at the 4...instead of Ibaka...then :mjlol:

I like the move for OKC, assuming they can go out and get another big to help pick up the defensive slack.

Mgmt can claim they did everything they could to entice Durant to stay, and even if he doesnt at the same time you've got some interesting pieces to begin the build around Russ dog.

Only way this shyt makes sense to me is if they can get Horford, provided they find someone that wants Kanter.

Like you said, 1 win away from the finals and making changes is kind of :wtf:
