Same way Dolan agreed to take Bargani off Masai hands in exchange for a bag of fruit and NO Kyle Lowry....:krs: Orlando Front Office been Ass since Penny was singing with BlackStreet..:russ:..What else did nikkas expect :yeshrug:

They've made a finals appearance since Penny singing with blackstreet. So this doesn't make any sense at all, and you're talking to someone who wanted everyone fired before the Scott Skiles resignation/Vogel hiring.

The 2 parts in bold are false. He can't shoot, and Illyasova's services weren't going to be retained. We lost nothing there.

Reading this thread it's obvious as fukk people didn't watch him play this year. He was benched because of how badly he was hurting the offense early the season and the Magic went on a big time run before falling off badly after everyone got hurt and never recovering because Skiles is a god awful coach.
Lost nothing? I mean the 11th pick was included too, so theres that for starters

and even if you didnt like Oladipo, he has trade value, so hes not 'nothing'

Thunder were going to have to give Ibaka like 20 something mil a year next summer too ... this is a wise move

They fleeced Orlando but they wouldn't have to give up Ibaka even if he asked for 20+ mil at the end of the day. They can afford to overpay for talent at this point because barring a KD/Westbrook injury they're deep into the playoffs, and the league isn't exactly full of players who actually play as well as their contract.

That being said, the Thunder ran away with this one, and this probably is the end of the Dion Waiters Era. Chinabound.
Don't know why this shyt got me :mjlol:

Sadly I think I've seen breh in basketball threads talking like an expert :scust:

I don't know if I didn't write that clearly, but I meant we didn't lose anything for Illyasova. He wasn't going to be on the team next year and isn't that good in the first place. I don't believe we lost anything for Depo either. What we lose on defense we gain in efficiency. His early season shooting percentages were poop. At one point I don't even think he was shooting 40% from the field.

He was completely incapable of playing off the ball, and him and Payton couldn't play together. The Magic's early season success came with him coming off the bench as a 6th man because he was stalling the offense and can't shoot consistently at all.

That's why he's being traded. Fornier will do just fine as the starting 2 with Mario coming off the bench and Gordon sliding to the 3. This is a good trade for the Magic. Ibaka is 26 years old and needed a change of scenery. If I'm wrong feel free to bump this, but Dipo is going to have a hard time playing to next to Westbrook.

I do wish we could've kept Sabonis but our starting center is young and pretty good. So I'm fine with letting him go.

Orlando's GM needs to be fired. You can't give up both Harris and Dipo for trash ass players for no reason other than you can. :francis:

Going into the beginning of last season they had a core, and all they really needed was one their many young player who would eventually turn the corner and become an all-star, and it was clearly going to happen. Now you fukk the core up and stunt the growth of your players by allowing this bullshyt

We were very likely about a month away from giving Waiters something stupid like 14 million just because of being stuck with a him or nothing option :scust:

Team still likes him but now they aren't backed into a corner.

It's like the world is saying fukk city of Orlando as a staff, record label, and as a motherfukking crew.
(Not to make light of the club shooting tragedy and the baby that got killed at Disneyworld, just to be clear).

So what are you saying exactly then :dahell:

im not so sure about this move for the thunder......this is a pretty big change for a team within one win of upsetting a 73-9 team...

the only thing they were missing is consistent 2 guard play. they shouldve made a run at JR smith or something.

oladipo seems like another westbrook

How does a Westbrook/Olidipo backcourt work?

Both are ball dominant and neither can shoot. Victor isn't even a great defender
You sound like a hater.

You just mad that the Thunder finally got an offensive option at the 2 and your precious Warriors can't play 4 on 5 no more :umad:

I can understand why the Thunder traded Ibaka, he was underwhelming in the regular season and I don't think they want to pay him the money he want's next year, but he showed his value in the series against the Warriors. The Thunder where able to play big and neutralize the Warriors "small ball" a bit, in part because Adams and Ibaka where able to switch off and keep up with their guards(well until game 7 at least), and because Ibaka can actually stretch the floor. Oladipo is solid, and Sabonis will be good, but I don't think it gets them closer to beating the Warriors now. Depending on how the rest of the offseason plays out I think it's a step back in fact.

Nah. I'm a fan of the Durant/Westbrook dynamic and would be glad to see them win a title.

I've just never liked Oladipo's game and think Serge deserves more credit for his role on OKC. They'll still be playing 4on5 when Roberson plays SF with Durant at PF.
