This was manna from heaven from the Thunder standpoint. Oladipo is good enough to be 6th man/borderline starter and he has crazy upside. He's one of the most athletic players in the the league, he's a better shooter than he gets credit for, his FG is just under 44% which is very good for a 24 year old. Not to mention the dude is a way better defender than Dion Waiters. Irsan Illyosova is a solid stretch 4 offensively and can score off the bench and Sabonis is going to develop into a very solid 4/5. Don't get me wrong Ibaka is an underrated player, but the Thunder got a lot more flexibility moving foraward.

what the fukk is this trade my nikka? :scust:

how the hell....why are okc getting rid of ibaka when they were one win away from the finals? :why:

ibaka and adams were one of the main reasons why okc were winning against spurs and warriors because of their mobile bigs rebounding well and running well.

ersan is one of the worst defenders in the league, pistons used to sit him out in crunch time because his defense was that bad

oladipo is nice but they need ibaka more than oladipo. Sabonis wont develop into elite defensive player for sure. OKC got assets but player like ibaka is very rare.

Have you watched the playoffs? :what:

Adams, Kanter, Roberson, Waiters, were the reason why OKC was close to beating GSW until RW and KD chocked. Ibaka was awful during the regular season and playoffs. Statically speaking he was awful. Yeah OKC will regress defensively, but they are not done yet. They might make another move. Right now this team is alot better.

Payton & Oladipo's games overlap, he's due for a contract extension soon, and they probably want to give Hezonja more PT
I love Payton's game. For some reason i thought he was an SG

Steven Adams also made a massive jump - especially in the playoffs - this year and will see a statistically jump with Serge gone.

Still can't believe people are saying this is bad for OKC when the one thing everyone's been saying for years is they were stupid for getting rid of their 3rd option who can create his own shot in Harden...

Well, they got their 3rd option who can create his own shot now...

I would rather have Oladpio be my 3rd best player than Serge Ibaka. Maybe I'm tripping, but with Adams + Sabonis's son + the potential to go after another big if they can get rid of Kanter is sounding like a threat to win it all next year :manny:

@Blackthoughts ayo Asian thoughts

what does that Durant guy think? His relationship with Ibaka never existed anywhere really than on the court, and both with Durant and Westbrook, Ibaka was often a target of on-court rebuking. The Thunder stars were often frustrated with Ibaka’s mental mistakes, with the heated arguments breaking out in huddles regularly. Durant is a team player, and defends anyone wearing the same jersey as him, but behind the scenes he was always open to moving Ibaka. In the summer of 2013, Durant spent a week working out with Kevin Love, and told some close to him he’d trade Ibaka for Love.

You're a fellow Lupe fan and we cool but you gotta start showing receipts with these posts man :pachaha:

Is he done? Or will he show out in Orlando?

Magic fans, what do you think? :dwillhuh:

Dwight and Ibaka? :ehh:

There's no way a 26 year old is done lol. He never should have turned into a stretch 4 who shoots threes. They turned him into something he shouldn't have been because they did something they shouldn't have done - trade James Harden.
