I still hate the idea of Gordon playing the 3 and now they have to re-up Serge who easily could be on the decline. I understand having to make a decision between Payton/Dipo/Mario and needing a shot blocker next to Vucci but this deal still doesn't sit well with me

I'm hearing rumblings of moving Vucci and pieces for a 2 guard (Butler is a name that keeps popping up) .. Allowing us to make a run at Horford.. Or Conley.

Where did Oladipo ever get you? I like him but he wasn't a fit with what you had and keeping him would mean moving Payton & Hezonja as well.
This means Gordon is your 3 defensively, and your 4 offensively because of how Ibaka is always outside. I think they make the playoffs as a result of more floor balance.
Gordon only plays the 3 on defense, offensively he will be a 4 in a lot of ways, and he'll have SF's trying to keep him off the glass.
Ibaka being outside means Gordon can play inside, and your defense wont be shyt like it was with Ersan and Frye.
