In trouble is an exaggeration. OKC played awful themselves. The turnovers covered up how putrid they were on offense and the boards. Indiana won that game by luck. It doesn’t tell me anything about the series tbh. If anything it shows me OKC’s coach overthought shyt again.
Luck is missed FT's. Careless turnovers. Questionable coaching strategies. Basically Game 1 of the Nuggets series. None of that occurred here. The only ones lucky was OKC, because Indy was so damn sloppy with the ball.

Once they cut down the TO's(5 in the 2nd half) and forced the Thunder to get their points in the halfcourt, and not off of turnovers like they've been doing all postseason, they outplayed them.

I still have the Thunder winning the series, but it's shaky now. Supposedly one of the best defenses ever causes 24 TO's, to only 6 at home, and still lose? That's troubling.

Look, everyone keeps saying OKC shouldn't have went small.

The problem is, those bigs will get ran off the floor.

OKC is in a tough position. Go small, get out rebounded. Go big, get ran off the floor.

People think OKC will dominate the pacers in game 2, I don't see ot. In fact, I see the pacers using the increased OKC effort in game 2 against them. The more they run, the more effort they give, the more tired OKC will be later in game.

Rick Carlisle is the better coach.

I think this series is over already. Pacers in 6 or 7.
nikkas always gotta jump out the window. OKC will win the next 4

“Maybe there’s a way around it,” he told a small group of reporters during an NBA Cares charity event at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County. “To be honest, I hadn’t thought all that much about it until I (saw) it (on social media). I’m nostalgic, as well, for certain things. And also, I think for a media-driven culture, whether it’s people watching live or seeing those images on social media, it’s nice when you’re looking back on highlights and they stand out because you see that trophy logo or some other indication that it’s a special event. So we’ll look at it.”

Just rewatched this game and…OKC is in trouble. They didn’t play bad by accident, Indiana forced them into a bad game. Once Indy got their shyt together in the second half, stopped playing sped up and cut down the turnovers, they were the team applying all the pressure. OKC had their backs on the wall that whole second half, except for a short stretch in the 4th. Then Carlisle called timeout and put an end to all that.

Anyway, Indiana looks like the more confident team. They have more killers. They have more creators. They have more shooters. And they can turn the defence up at the end of games. OKC didn’t get a lot of great looks this game. Outside of SGA, there were very few quality shots taken by OKC. On the other end, Indiana’s offence got going once they stopped turning it over. Just relentless pressure. And OKC got tired with three or four minutes left in the 4th. If I’m an OKC fan I’m worried because they’re in trouble.

Pacers might take it.
