I didn't have cable till '02. So obviously I didn't have access to MTV, BET, & VH1 in '98. Plus, I was only 9-10 years old in '98.

Cant believe youre evolved from me SMH.I tried to tell booth posters in another thread that at one point Jeezy was on T.I and Lil Wayne level in terms of popularity....

1) DMX
2) 50 cent
3) Jeezy
Future (not even ranked) lmao
nikka, ain’t you in your late 30’s?
How was you not listening to radio or even watching music videos on BET and MTV at that time?
I probably only casually listened to just Pop radio back in '98. It wasn't till 2000, I had my own radio & tuned into the local Hip-Hip/R&B stations.I didn't have cable till '02. So obviously I didn't have access to MTV, BET, & VH1 in '98. Plus, I was only 9-10 years old in '98.
bigger than everyone other than 50

To answer your question, He had TWO #1 albums in the same year, a movie, and about 10 guest appearances in an era that you weren't emailing your verses. This was the 2 inch tape era. That dude was everywhere in 1998. Can't compare the new eras to the 2 inch tape era. I'm still confused to how he was able to record all of those songs, star in a movie, shoot videos, and still be on crack.
