Na, not love, not with the antics. I just think DeRozan could be a role player off the bench and we could still run with rookies over Randle.
DeRozan would start. But he would make the team better exponentially. Literally anybody we bring in who can shoot and make Morris play the 4 opens the floor for everyone else. More Mitch lobs. More RJ drives. More playing time for Knox. It’s not about Randle personally.

fukk was i wrong about Ja. I knew he’d be good. But fringe all star good. Kids gonna be a superstar tho.

Im not upset we got RJ but Ja is something special. Hes got great point guard and offensive skills, hes already real smooth and effortless with it. One of his first games he blocked Kyrie and outplayed him in clutch moments to help the Grizzlies beat the Nets. Hands down best rookie :wow:

RJ will have a great career too though hes been showing us more the past few games

After having high hopes for guys like Fultz and Smith, I was fully skeptical on Ja. I’m glad my other prospect picks are at least all starting to shine though. Culver, Garland and Clarke are gonna be good.

I was all aboard the Ja train :mjcry:

wish we had him :wow:

RJ is gonna be good too but I feel like Ja is gonna be better :hubie:
Difference is Ja has the keys, RJ doesn't
We haven't gotten to see how good RJ really is because the offense doesn't run through him like it runs through Ja
For example tonight against the Jazz the offense is running through friggin Payton and Bullock
(wtf?) and they are freezing RJ out again
Imagine how different things would be if the offense was running through RJ from day 1
Ja is definitely the better rookie this season (he's my rookie of the year and it's not close)
but that doesn't mean RJ can't end up being the better player in the long run
It could go either way

I'd rather watch frank ntlikina crash and burn then meddle in mediocrity with payton :yeshrug:
at least that way we can completely assess and move on in entirety away from him. if he dies he dies.
payton aint taking us no where...and if he plays well....he's playing his way off this team anyway
