Nah. He’s nothing like Warren. Why’s it have to be the end? I can see Knox having a TJ Warren like career a few years down the line.

The thing this team needs most is shooting.
The worst team in 3PT% and FT%. It’s why we shouldn’t even consider drafting a player like Okoro.
Aaron NesmithWho are the best shooting prospects? Is it a case where you’ll use multiple picks to fix that area or do y’all got an opportunity to experiment on a Euro or sumn in the 2nd round?

Aaron Nesmith
Devin Vassell
Markus Howard
Tyrell Terry
Saddiq Bey
Desmond Bane
Isaiah Joe
Right now Knicks bloggers believe Vassell is the favorite. He’s a shooter with athleticism and can defend. I just wish he shot threes at a higher volume in college but he’s a good fit with Barrett and has the prototypical SG size.
Our biggest position of need is PG though and we may very well go with a PG. I like LaMelo, Cole Anthony, and Killian Hayes, because they can all create their shots. Tyrell Terry and Markus Howard are great shooters but kinda small and can be had with our second first round pick or second round pick potentially (in Howard’s case). Most Knicks fans are high on the speedster Kira Lewis.
In the second round it’s possible we draft a Serbian 7-footer named Aleksej Pokusevski, but dude is only 190 pounds
From what I’ve seen can pass, handle, and shoot![]()
Jonathan Macri said:As an aside, while I absolutely still think the Knicks will bring in at least one point guard to be a part of the rotation before next season, I think I’ve also underestimated what they think of their current crop. Frank Ntilikina, I’m told, is currently penciled in as the starter, although that can - and if I had to guess probably will - change once they tinker with the roster. I’m also told that reports of Thibs’ continued belief in DSJ are absolutely legit. How much faith does he have, and how willing is he to put New York’s fate in someone who was quite awful last season? Your guess is as good as mine.

True true, I obviously didn’t see many games but anytime I did I tried to keep an eye on RJ. He looked ok for his rookie year but you can tell he has room to grow.
What is yalls most glaring hole? Feels kinda like my Raiders where it’s just a matter of needing talent everywhere. I can’t tell whether y’all need rebounding or shooting. Are y’all at least satisfied with where Frank Nitty is in his development?
I be wondering if it’s just a matter of finding the right coach and just keeping with stability when it comes to y’all.
Whether or not he’ll have the talent for it, RJ really has the perfect temperament to be a star in NY. Love how he moves and carries himself. Staying low and just working his ass off like we all know he does. You can tell he wants to be great too. Badly.

Like everything it depends on cost. If the rockets are desperate and want to give Westbrook away i’d consider it strongly. I don’t want Harden at all.Rooting for the kid. I think he’s gonna be a big factor for y’all.
Brehs was talkin the other day tho, what if Harden/Westbrook on the market? Y’all biting or y’all want to just do a holistic rebuild?

The good news is Hanlen has a great track record
He closely observes what a player is doing wrong and goes on from there
He's worked with Tatum, Beal, etc. he knows what he's doing
This is why I can't understand how anyone can make definitive statements on how good RJ can become
Already had people hatin on the kid feenin for Zion and Ja as if the Knicks chose RJ over them
That makes sense after a couple seasons of watching a player but not after a rookie season that RJ didn't even get to finish
You never know how much a player can improve from their rookie season
Watch everyone jump on the bandwagon if he turns out great and exceeds expectations like y'all knew all along![]()
My thing with RJ is that he’s not the most fluid athlete. That will naturally limit his ceiling no matter how brilliant of a scorer he can become. What separates James Harden from just being a great shooter is his shiftiness combined with his strength. Things like that you can’t really acquire. RJ will have the strength and may very well become a great shooter with his work ethic. But being stiff isn’t something you can drastically change.

(small victories Frank Hive)
We going to the finals next years brehs.
