Dare I say, Deni was looking almost Draymondish out there. But let's not put all that on him just yet.

He's definitely putting in that work on the defensive end, though. I think we're seeing a little of Wes Jr.'s influence there, too.

Trez is our Draymond, Deni would be our Iguadala. We built differently with more of a defensive emphasis so I think we need to be more like those Detroit Piston teams with Chauncey, Rip, Sheed and Ben Wallace. As long as we can continue to move the ball on offense, we'll have a big shot

It’s important to get Ws like last night as December has a brutal stretch for them. Hopefully Rui and Bryant are back to add to the depth

Yeah dude he had the yips. So many unforced turnovers bobbling the ball when he's about to shoot. I'd also give Rui bertans minutes. Especially on nights he's being targeted by offenses

Yea, seriously. Last night he look super inferior vs NBA level competition. I won’t kill the guy because I’m sure he puts in work and seems like a quality teammate. He just looked awful. And, yes Rui will steal Gill, Bertans, Kispert minutes.

Looking at the Rui situation, I think WUJ probably would prefer to move him. We got a team full of dogs that have bought in, and Rui seems (to me, at least) to be both mentally weak and has let the team down by not communicating his intentions.

From Wizards coach says team will not rush Rui Hachimura back:

“It’s going to be a challenge. Obviously, we’re playing pretty well and, you know, sometimes as coaches, we overthink it, and you worry about upsetting the balance,” the first-year coach said.

“Where he is physically, also the balance of the roster, how he works with those different lineups, will kind of determine how he fits.”

“(We’re) just trying to find ways to incorporate him and it could be with the G-League, it could be just with some of our younger players. We’ll just see how it plays out,” Unseld said.

We're strong already at that position anyway, so we could try and flip him with Bertans to get dude off the books.

Yea, I agree but at the same time you would be unloading him at his lowest value point. Might as well hang on and see what we have going forward. This is a long season. 10-3 is a great start but long road ahead & who knows where he fits down the line. Especially when the injury Big hits.

I'm so over upside: Porter, Oubre, Satoransky, Vesely, Nick Young, Andre Blatch... I was here for all of them. Only players that have panned out for us have been Wall and Beal.

We're winning now, and our GM seems to be way better at trades than drafts. I say dump him.

Nobody is saying don’t move him for the right deal but it’s not like they HAVE to trade him just because they’re on a nice run. I agree that it’s way too early to just dump him. Let’s find out what’s really going on before just making the rash decision to move on quickly.
