Nah breh

They are committed to Brad. They’ll re-sign him

I’ll believe it when I see it. Voicing commitment will make teams more aggressive in trade offers. Seems like a lot of public posturing.

They were 7 games above .500 and a report came out saying these bammas didn’t like Wes’ offense

That’s when this started

There’s merit to that. The offense is very vanilla and predictable. Players probably anticipated the league would eventually catch on to what they were doing.

I also just read that Leonsis’ Monumental sports group that owns the Wizards has been having financial troubles during the pandemic. So they’re really gonna go into the luxury tax to pay Beal and have a losing team?

Re-signing Brad doesn't put them in the luxury tax.

They're going to be below the tax line of $145M by nearly $25-$30M even with Brad back on a new deal.

The problem with the Wizards is you have Bertans and Dinwiddie taking up $33M. Tommy fukked up.

But Beal claims he wants the Wiz to sign another star(s). To be honest, I feel like he just wants to join the Celtics but doesn’t want them to have to trade Jaylen. Celtics aggressively trying to get under the cap by this trade deadline raises suspicions. If Wiz don’t trade him, I could see them getting Marcus Morris and some other fillers in a sign and trade this Summer lol.

We'd need Jaylen Brown

Beal is shut down for the season. He probably played his last game as a Wizard.

I see Portland making room to sign a Max contract this off season. Hopefully he just walks there, I don't want this team bringing in any bad contracts because Beal wants to do a Sign and Trade.

:jbhmm: unless some draft picks are attached to that.

Worst case is Tommy signing him for the supermax. I hope he has a speedy recovery but it's almost a blessing that he got hurt. Tommy definitely would have tried to get Sabonis and Grant in here to try to right the ship and fight for the the play-in tournament. At this point, trade the assets and keep the dead weight.

Maybe Dinwiddie and Bertans play better and you trade them in the offseason.

Montrezl and Thomas Bryant have expiring contracts. Get these guys out of here, Neto too if you can.

If we really stink it up maybe we can get a top 6 pick.

Put Rui, Deni and Krispert in the starting lineup and let them finish the season.

Wonder what value Kuzman has... 13 mill a year and has another year on his contract after this.

The Chi (South Side)
wizards holding a full fire sale today I see.

wizards won the porzingas deal. bertans is ass. dinwiddie has played poorly this year. porzingas should be the best player given he's healthy.
