Shaq "they gave it to him cuz I couldn't get it every year"

Umm, you only got it once shaq

Lol

He's right though
No, he's not. He wasn't the same player he was in Orlando/LA. He should of won it back to back but Iverson got it instead in 00/01. He should be mad at Iverson. The one who should have a gripe about one of those MVPs is Kobe in 05/06.

I'll give Nash the 2nd one, but that first one should have been Shaq's.

:childplease: You wilin breh. Nash deserved the first MVP but Bean got flat out robbed in 06 and you know it. 81pts in a game? Out score the entire Mavs team in 3 qtrs?? Drag that bum ass team to the postseason??? Bean got robbed my nikka

A nikka that could never get out the 1st round wasn't better than Nash.

The Coli overrating of T-Mac is :why:
Last time I checked basketball is a team sport.

T-Mac's numbers vs the Mavs in 05:

30.7/7.4/6.7/1.6/1.4 on 46% FG

But its somehow T-Mac's fault they lost. :stopitslime:

T-Mac also shut down Dirk for half of the series.

regardless

nash winning did trivialize the award

he's the only player who isn't considered a "great" to win an mvp

in the last 30 years the mvps have been

magic johnson, larry bird, michael jordan, charles barkley, hakeem olajuwon, david robinson, karl malone, shaq, iverson, duncan, garnett, nash, dirk, kobe, lebron, rose, durant

nash sticks out like a sore thumb. verdict is still out on rose

did new episodes of open court already start? any links
October 7th. This is part of an interesting topic they are discussing.

The Top 50 NBA players(that were chosen in 1996) plus the next 10

so who would they select as the next 10 to join the list

off the top I got

Duncan
Kobe
Lebron
Dirk
Garnett
Pierce
Dominque Wilkins
DWade
Nash
Allen Iverson

But he still never got out the 1st round. :stopitslime: Even when he was in the sorry East for the Magics and was up 3-1 against the Pistons. An elite player wouldn't have allow his team to lose 3 straight games to be bounced out the playoffs. :camby:

I can see the 2nd MVP kinda..but that first one was bullshyt. Nash's first MVP year is by far statistically the worst MVP in the last 20 years.

The Pistons were an elite team. The Magic had no business being up 3-1 in the first place.

Look at the trash T-Mac was surrounded with in Orlando in 03

Gordan Giricel, Darrell Armstrong, Pat Garrity and Drew Gooden. That was his starting line up.

The Kobe led Lakers didn't lose a 3-1 lead to the Suns? Kobe isn't an elite player?

He sticks out to YALL.

I could easily say that for David Robinson as well.

Nash is a first ballot HOF yall need to get over yall selves. The only thing Missing is that Kidd should have won over Duncan that year. Then yall would be saying the SAME thing...

Or would yall :mjpls:

nikka Kobe have rings to back him up. T-Mac only have multiple 1st round exits on his resume. You can't deny those facts. He couldn't even get out the 1st round during his years in the East. :camby:

He was still better than Nash regardless.

Real elite players shine in the playoffs, not during meaningless games in the regular season.

Carmelo is a cold regular season player, but always come up short during the nut cutting time of the NBA playoffs.
