Oscar doesn't get the respect that he should for the things that he has done. Bill Russell played in the same era as well as Wilt and everyone pretty much agrees they would shine in this current era. So I think the Big O should be held in the same regard too. Even today at his height and weight he would be one of if not the biggest point guard in the league. And the stats might be inflated somewhat, but if averaging a triple double was so easy why was no one else doing it in his day like he was. I know his dislike of the media has something to do with it too and I know I have heard him say that MJ is not the goat. And I don't see why he would say he's the best. Just like MJ thinks he could give Bron and Kobe the business in his prime im pretty sure Oscar felt the same way too about him.

:smh: at ya'll not realizing that certain skills transcend any era. You might not dominate on the boards or in the post the same way in 90's as the 50's but a shooter is a shooter and a passer is a passer. Your FT% and FG% will stay pretty much within the same range. passing actually improves the greater the players around you are so if you think magic wasn't playing with talented players that means he would prolly have more assist per game playing with better players. So a player like Oscar who was good at everything is gonna be better at certain things today and a little worse at certain things which overall would average to being just as good.

Grant Hill was a BEAST when he played for the Pistons...I went to a couple of those games and I was shocked to see how good he was. And I HATED THAT nikka!!! (DUKE:pacspit:) And Detroit had those ugly ass colors and jerseys back then....he would have been Lebron if not better if he didn't get hurt.

But those Oscar Robinson numbers..WOOOOOOOO!!!

Grant was that dude but he wouldn't have been better than Bron. Grant had played 6 healthy seasons in Detroit and I don't think he ever got out the first round. We had enough time to see where he was headed and he would have been one of the best but I don think he would have been better than the King. His last healthy year in Detroit he was at 26 6 and 5 and with him going to Orlando he wouldn't have scored as much with the emergence of T-mac. But he probably would have got double figures in rebounds or assists though. But because he was closer to 30 than he was 20 when he signed there and while their is no doubt he still would have been one of the best players into the 2000's era I still don't think he would have been better than Bron. But it would have been nice to seeing a young Bron going against a still in his prime Grant Hill though.
