Isn't there a stat that shows that more black women get degrees than black men?
yeah there is, we have crazy high numbers. some guys in this thread are kind of discrediting it by saying women don't usually get degrees that are worth anything. i really don't give a fukk what degree a black woman chooses, she's getting educated either way and that's the important part!*
*edit: it's important to choose a degree w/ good job security and that's enjoyable, but who am i to tell anyone that the degree they worked hard on isn't worth it?

I do. I want to encourage my enlightened, gifted black women to get degrees in areas that helps improve their situation and the community's. Basket weaving isn't the wave.
Unless it's a minor, then go for it.
