Hell
Taking this gym shyt seriously takes alot brehs. Been lifting since jan 2014 and its a lifestyle. Having to set aside 2-3hrs of your week 5-6x a week combined with your job, gf, school takes alot. But its worth it :blessed: people respect you when they see you are dedicated to taking care of yourself.

Been tracking my macros since May and have dropped from 220 to about 206. Trying to get to atleast 185 by oct-nov then do a clean bulk til march to maybe 200 and cut down to 185

You gotta love it, a couple too many beers or cigars, cigarettes and you lost what you Gaines, you gotta shut the world out and just focus on what needs to be done.

So what's his spiel about?

Yeah you are like a fat piece of shyt while half the world starves, wow u learnt to not shovel so much food in ur fat face ...

Sick of these people who lose weight thinking its some prolific mystical hard journey.

Sweet u can goto a gym and pick up a heavy object and put it back down again.

Caveman level of evolution ...

See that's my perspective!

I went from 230-240 down to 175 all by running 3-5 miles, 4-5 times a week. By the time I got down to 175, people thought I had a serious health issue and hit me with the :whoa:
I didn't start lifting until coming up on 4 years ago and even then I wasn't dialed in for another year or so.

That's why if people ask what to do, my response is "What's important, the scale or the way you look" because if it's how you look. There has to be some strength training involved.

I try to help because I been through the ups and downs.

Right,if you lift while cutting down you'll look like something, you'll have a lot of muscle by then,or at least a nice amount of it,I remember the first time I heard what's more important the scale or the mirror theory and ever since then I left the scales alone,I check my weight every now and then just to see where in at. But the scale really isn't important, because I got a friend who is 6'0 184 but looks every bit of 205,he just real lean and strong, you can look 205 and be much lighter or you can be 205 and look much smaller,if you catch my drift.

But that's just what I think,if someone wants to lose a ton of weight they should lift weights

It's also excessive in Fat sodium and carbs.

I wouldn't call it nutritious if it's excessive in things that aren't nutrient based

You wanna make a healthy skinny pizza? Sure, that can be nutritious but probably taste nothing like pizza.

regular everyday pizza is unhealthy man.

If people are looking for a long term strategy , they can start with realizing that cutting out fatty foods is half the battle for most people. Trying to skew your perception so you can look at pizza as nutritious, is silly and will only enable someone with eating problems to continue eating like shyt.

But see you are changing to loaction of the goal post.

Regular everyday pizza for a lot of people isn't the move. Moderation, sure.

Fatty foods aren't an issue as a stand alone either that's not accurate.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
I mean they might not know what the technical terms are, but they def like someone who is more in shape than not and appreciate shyt like nice arms and a small waist. Of course, that has limits too.... most chicks don't want a Mr Olympia type dude or a dude with striated buttocks.

Yea, the avg person's general interactions with food are not ideal. It's not even eating bullshyt really, it's just not having any kind of structure. Having no kind of discipline. Like my MIL... she is the kind of person to have a tube of raw cookie dough for dinner, and then complain about her stomach hurting the next day. Or my bachelor homie who literally eats nothing but fast food. Every time I go to his crib, all he has in the fridge is a couple bottles of beer. He's prob gained 20-40 lbs in the 3 years I've known him. It's like the 'work to live don't live to work' thing. Lot of MFers live to eat and eat off of emotion rather than need.

It can go too far the other way though. MFers bringing tupper ware full of chicken breasts and broccoli on vacation :francis: :snoop:

Fatty foods aren't the issue by itself. But its one of the bigger negative components to traditional pizza.

What point are you even trying to make here nikka

The point is that even in defense of your own statements you have to add qualifiers and walk backs. So your original plan of what to do isn't as clear cut and raises other questions.

Where does a nikka even get started though? Need to make a thread in the gym later :patrice:
Figure out what you are trying to accomplish.

Even w/o knowing that though, easy place to start is to only drink water.... no soda, no juice, and chill with the alcohol.

So you're choosing to spend your time attacking what you perceive as errors in logic, rather than pointing out the exact errors in what I'm saying?

I gave vague advice because that's what worked for me. Eat less, avoid garbage foods, eat until satiated & not stuffed. :yeshrug:

What ur body looking like fam I bet I'm more ripped than you anyway :camby:

You start In your kitchen

toss out the trash in there & commit to not restocking on it

This includes soda and chips and any other snacks that can be replaced with fruits and veggies
